C IRCULATORY SYSTEM Santiago Rangel Juan Miguel Christian Álvarez

The circulatory system is the one that allows us to transport oxygen and nutrients throughout the body through the blood vessels. The common diseases that happened to the circulator system are:

DESEASES Aneurysm: Widening in the wall of an artery Arteriosclerosis: A disease in which plaque builds up inside the arteries. Acute myocardial infarction: Conditions that involve blockage of an artery and lead to a heart attack. Raynaud's disease: A disorder that causes blood vessels to constrict when you are cold or stressed.

DESEASES Pulmonary embolism (PE): This happens when a blood clot breaks off and travels to the lungs, blocking a pulmonary artery. Heart Failure: t involves the inability of the heart to pump blood efficiently, which may be due to weakness in the heart muscle or problems with the heart valves. Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD): It is characterized by a narrowing of the arteries that supply blood to the legs and feet, which can cause pain, cramps, and other problems. Cardiac Arrhythmias: Arrhythmias are heart rhythm disorders, which can include heartbeats that are too fast, too slow, or irregular. They can be caused by problems in the heart's electrical system.

How do you avoid a severe illness in the circulatory System ?

PREVENTION Make healthy lifestyle changes: Eating a heart-healthy diet and exercising more reduces the chances of serious disease. An example is avoiding excessive saturated fat consumption and excessive alcohol intake. Don’t Smoke: Smoking has consequences not only for the circulatory system but also for others. The consequence of smoking is an elevation of blood pressure due to a lack of oxygen. Do not eat food high in salt: The consequences of foods high in salt and sodium are that they tend to raise blood pressure, thus making us prone to strokes.

PREVENTION Controlling cholesterol and blood sugar levels: The consequences of not controlling them are the generation of plaques that obstruct blood flow and make you more prone to heart attacks or strokes. Peripheral arterial disease: Prevention: Stop smoking, control diabetes, keep cholesterol levels under control, and engage in regular physical activity. Cardiac arrhythmias: Prevention: Reduce caffeine and alcohol consumption , manage stress, and maintain a healthy diet and weight.
