John Keats (born October 31,
1795, London, England—died
February 23, 1821, Rome, Papal
States [Italy]) was an English
Romantic lyric poet who devoted
his short life to the perfection of
a poetry marked by vivid imagery,
great sensuous appeal, and an
attempt to express a philosophy
through classical legend.
A Thing of Beauty is a poem written by the
famous romantic poet, John Keats. The poem
tells about how nature and its wonder mesmerize
us and take away all the sorrow that surrounds us
from time to time. Also If we notice, Endymionis
a poem by, John Keats, first published in 1818. It
begins with the line "A thing of beauty is a joy
forever". The poet says that a beautiful thing is a
source of endless joy. It has eternal beauty which
never fades away. A beautiful thing is like a
shady shelter which gives us a sleep full of sweet
dreams, good health and relaxation.
Introduction
The poet lists out some of the
beautiful things that surround us. As
the saying goes -"Beauty lies in the
eyes of the beholder. He says that the
numerous creations of God like the
Sun which gives us energy, the
moon’s beauty, the trees which give
us shade are the natural beauties
around us. The various animals like
the sheep that surround us make our
world lively.

However, the beautiful things remove the pall of sadness from our lives
and make us happy and hopeful . We forget all our despair , acute
shortage of noble souls and misfortunes that overtake us to test our
forbearance . All beautiful things of nature are a boon for human beings.
The sun , the moon , the trees , daffodils , simple sheep, clear streams,
forests femes , musk rose etc. . provide us with peace and happiness.
Also , the glorious achievement for those mighty heroes and magnificent
rewards by god on he day of judgement for those mighty men , are
endless source of everlasting joy in addition to these , there are great
works of literature that lift our spirits. The poet calls the things of beauty
an elixir of life . They arelike an endless fountain that pours immortal-
drink from the heaven into our hearts .

are all around us and that one must cherish them. They
provide us timeless joy and leave an unforgettable imprint on
our minds, therefore every beautiful thing is worth preserving.
Poem "Keeping Quiet" for highlights the powerful effects of
silence and introspection on both personal and global levels. By
suggesting we take a break from our constant activities, the poet
emphasizes the need for self-reflection to find inner peace and
harmony with nature.

The 'Last Lesson' by Alphonse Daudet is mainly about the
longing to learn the mother tongue and love for it. It has a
sense of patriotism. They realize the importance of learning
their mother tongue and that they have been defeated by the
Germans because of their illiteracy
