Difference and similarities in intelligence among individuals are explained by the level at which herdity and environment factors have influenced the development of intelligence. Heredity and Environment play an important role in the development of intelligence. Parents can influence their offspring both by direct genetic transmission and the kind of environment they provide .

Heredity ....... Intelligence abilities run along with families,gene concerned with intelligence are passed from parents to their children, children born of parents with High IQ are likely to have a high IQ ,some of cognitive function such as processing information, memorization.

Heredity ...... Twins and adoption studies explain the role of hereditary and environment factor in development of intelligence,some of the facts explained by research studies............. Identical twins studies showed that Similar IQ for the twins even when they are in different environment , according to this study genetic factor act as the primary Factor for development of intelligence.

Heredity ...... Adoption studies showed that adopted children also heaving maximum intelligence capacity belongs to their biological parents.

Environment ...... Intelligence is not entirely influenced by genetic factor it affected by Schooling,Play , Nutrition,Family and Social Surrounding. Children with proper nutrition exhibit higher IQ scores than mal nourished children.

Environment ...... Many studies have shown that fetal alcohol syndrome delays language development and reduce mental development. Formal schooling influencing intelligence many studies have reported that attending regular school pramote intellectual Growth. Studies shown that IQ of school drop out decline the level of IQ .
