Step Description
1. Identify a Problem or
Need
Think about an environmental problem you want to help solve. Is it
pollution, waste, or the need for useful eco-friendly items?
2. Choose Reusable
Material
Collect safe, clean reusable materials such as plastic bottles, cardboard,
fabric, paper, cans, etc. Think about what materials are easy to find and
repurpose.
3. Brainstorm Product
Ideas
In groups or individually, think creatively. What useful or innovative
product could you design using those materials? Sketch your ideas.
4. Design the Product
Make a draft or drawing of your product. Include size, shape, materials,
and how it works. Consider who will use it and how it helps the
environment.
5. Plan the Process
Make a list of steps you’ll follow to build the product. What tools or
extra materials (glue, tape, scissors, etc.) will you need?
6. Build the Prototype
Create a first version of the product using the reusable materials. Work
carefully and safely, and ask for help if needed.
7. Test the ProductTry it out! Does it work? Is it useful? Can it be improved? Ask others

oral explanation and visual aids to show your product to classmates or
other students.

during the final showcase or Environmental Festival. Include your
product, images, and written content.
