Essay About Cats
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Essay About Cats" might seem deceptively simple at first
glance. After all, cats are popular pets, and many people have personal experiences or anecdotes
to share. However, the challenge lies in creating a piece that stands out amidst the plethora of
cat-related content available. The difficulty arises from striking the right balance between
informative content and engaging storytelling.
Firstly, there's the issue of originality. Countless essays have been written on cats, covering
everything from their behavior and characteristics to the historical significance of their
domestication. It becomes a task to bring a fresh perspective or unearth lesser-known facets of
feline life.
Additionally, finding the right tone can be challenging. Should the essay be lighthearted and
humorous, delving into the quirky behaviors of cats, or should it take a more serious tone,
discussing their impact on human society and culture? Striking the right balance is crucial to
captivate the reader's attention and maintain their interest throughout.
Researching to include accurate and relevant information is another hurdle. While personal
experiences provide a touch of authenticity, a well-rounded essay requires a blend of anecdotal
evidence and factual information. Ensuring a seamless integration of these elements demands
time and effort.
Furthermore, organizing the essay poses its own set of challenges. Deciding on a coherent
structure that flows logically from one point to the next can be daunting. Juggling between
different aspects like cat breeds, behavior, and historical context without losing the reader's
interest requires careful planning and execution.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the seemingly simple topic of "Essay About Cats" demands a
unique blend of creativity, research, and organizational skills. Only through overcoming the
challenges of originality, tone, research, and structure can one create a piece that stands out in the
vast expanse of cat-related literature.

Essay On Athletic Director Duties
When comparing the list of athletic duties across the four schools, we found more
similarities than differences. In our group we have two public schools which
consist of Scoggins Middle School in McKinney, TX with 1,100 students and 7
sports teams, and Lakin High School in Lakin, Kansas with 400 students and 15
sports teams. We also have two private schools; Loyola Academy located in
Wilmette, IL has 2,000 students with 24 sports teams, and Cary Academy (Middle
and High School) located in Cary, NC has 800 students and 49 sports teams.
A key similarity between the four schools is scheduling. One of the main athletic
director duties is the scheduling of both home and away games, scheduling referees,
and scheduling transportation for away games. This important duty for any athletic
director can take up a large part of their time depending on how many teams they
have per season.
Another area where we saw similarities is in staff management. In our four schools, it
is the role of the athletic director to hire the coaching staff, provide the necessary
training, provide feedback and guidance, and to help mediate conflicts with parents
and student athletes. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the differences we observed was in budget management. Although every
school s athletic director is responsible for creating and managing a budget; where
they get the funds to run the program differs. Fundraising in the private schools does
not always fall on the athletic director. For instance, in one of the private schools
listed, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is responsible for raising money to help
fund the athletic program. In this case, the athletic director does not need to allocate
any funds for fundraising events or marketing. In the public schools, athletic directors
are responsible for raising money through fundraising events, booster clubs, and
parent fees to help pay for equipment, facilities, coaches,

My Favorite Toy Essay
Stealing a toy from my preschool classroom is the earliest and most shameful
memory that I can recall. Every day, my father was in charge of taking me to class
since my mother had to leave for work early in the morning. In my classroom, there
were always so many wonderful toys spread out for the children to playwith. I liked
them all, mostly because they weren t mine, which made them extra special. Also,
because we had to share the toys and could never hold onto one for too long, it
made them seem even more desirable. Even though I had a lot of my own toys at
home, there was one toyin the classroom that really captured my attention. It was a
fuzzy, stuffed cat with a brush and its own clothes. I had always begged my
parents for a real cat, and the answer was always NO! This may not have been a
real cat, but to my young mind, the stuffed one looked almost as good. I really
adored that toy but never had a chance to playwith it for enough time. Because I was
a shy, petite girl, and I get red whenever I want to talk to someone, I couldn t ask
for my turn to play with that beautiful, fuzzy cat. After one frustrating day at school
of being unable to play with my favorite toy, I did something horrible. It was so
easy to hide that toy in my backpack and take it home because everybody was busy
doing an activity with the teacher. I left for home completely excited that now I
could finally play with my beloved toy.
At home, I ignored all my toys and went running to my room

The Theory Of Robert Pickton As A Serial Killer
First, the theory chosen for the social science discipline, psychology is
psychosocial. The focus of the theory is how Robert Pickton became a serial killer
due to the environment he grew up in and relationships. Pickton s parents ran a
meat business in Port Coquitlam and Pickton alongside his brother helped them.
Pickton s mother was tough and had the children work on a strict schedule. In
addition, Pickton s father had very little influence in his life, but his mother can be
the key influence in why he murders women. Pickton was close to his mother and
she also was a major authority figure in his life. Consequently, Pickton could have
grown a hatred towards women due to his mother and is the reason he targets
women. Enough hatred to ensure his victims suffer by raping and killing them
Also, due to his mother making him work hard on the farm he had little to no
childhood. Pickton did raise a calf and was very close to it, however, the calf was
slaughtered. As a result, Pickton never forgot it and also said from CBC News, the
incident made him realize life was fleeting. Additionally, Pickton is used to seeing
things being killed and dying because he saw many animals being slaughtered when
he was young. Death in his eyes has been normalized and is not an unusual
occurrence. This is a key reason Pickton does not feel remorse for the killing of his
victims because it is normal to him. Furthermore, Pickton was quiet and socially
awkward, sometimes exhibiting unusual behaviour.

those schools since they started and you got generation on generation just piled on

Relationship Between Sir Percy And Lady Blakeney
I think the relationship between Sir Percy and Lady Blakeney is interesting
because they once loved each other, but then lost the love due to what Lady
Blakeney did to Marquis de St. Cyr and his family. She killed that family in order to
save her brother. In the same way that forced her kill that family, Chauvelin made her
choose to kill her brother or The Scarlet Pimpernel. In wanting to save her brother,
of course, she gave the information she found, about the Scarlet Pimpernel, from Sir
Andrew to Chauvelin. I felt so bad for her because early the next morning, she
figured out that Sir Percy was The Scarlet Pimpernel. So then she had to help him,
and I think that their relationship is quite intriguing because she wanted to win his
loveback,

How Does Globalization Affect The Economy Of Sydney
As a result of this economic drive, an influence was evident on the spatial economic
makeup of Sydney. The unemployment map of the city was distributed into two
opposing fragments, illustrative of contemporaneous social geography. The highest
rates of unemployment were marked in the western and south western suburbs, while
the lowest rates occupied the northern suburbs. In place of this, the service sector,
specifically finance, business, retail, community service, professional, and wholesale,
sprouted. However, this was not sufficient to counterbalance the unemployment rates.
In 1996, the services industry comprised a large 40% of employment, a step up from
just 24% in 1971 (Fagan Webber 1999), of which was concentrating in the inner city
and neighbouring regions (Forster 2006). In observation of these dynamics, the
extent to which the urban layout of progressive producer services and the additional
locations of corporate headquarters have been altered by the forces of globalisation is
evident.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But in conjunction with this socio spatial cleavage , and decentralisation of
employment for a large number of people, such an arrangement also led to a high
level of automobile use. 58% of workers in Sydney were now travelling to work by
car (Forster 2004). Accordingly, this spatial mismatch of the city is further evident
upon observing that residents in the outer areas were made to travel lengthier
distances in order to access high order employment, with a lack of these jobs being
situated in the outward

Gunpowder Revolutionized Medieval Europe And The End
Of...
The introduction of gunpowder revolutionized medieval Europe and hastened the
decline of the knight and the end of the medieval style of warfare. Prior to this, all
medieval weapons depended on the strength of the user to operate; from the largest
most complex torsion and gravity driven siege machines to a poor farmer s dirk, all
weapons used human strength. While siege weapons would be dependent on
leverage and a ratcheting mechanism to draw a rope to prime a ballista or ready a
mangonel, other weapons like a traditional war bow would be dependent on raw brute
strength.
As opponents and fortifications became better protected, the performance of
traditional weapons diminished due to the physical limitations of the technology. By

Peasants were essentially treated as cannon fodder marching into battles in hordes
armed with farming implements and small knives. Other weapons were expensive
and limited by monarchies. Knights in contrast were treated with the utmost respect
and wore protective steel mail and plates. Due to the expectation that knights would
furnish all of their own equipment, training and horses, the knightly class became
almost exclusively filled with rich nobles and aristocrats. Archers proved to be
highly effective but the skill took a lifetime to master and arrows needed to be shot
at close range to be capable of penetrating knight s armor. Furthermore, archers were
vulnerable to charge while they reloaded.
Despite later results, gunpowder did not immediately revolutionize European armies,
rather it took time for the technology to advance to the point that it could surpass
traditional technologies. Overtime gunpowder granular size, production method and
ingredient proportions changed as medieval era scientists experimentally determined
what specific methods produced the best quality cannon and handgun powder. It wasn
t just the gunpowder that needed refinement, the weapons using also needed change.
Initial gunpowder weapons were poorly designed and highly ineffective killing
instruments. In the beginning, they offered no performance improvement over a
traditional crossbow which limited their utilization by militaries.

Grendel Vs Beowulf Research Paper
Beowulf and Grendel, the main characters of their self titled books, are two very
different, yet very similar characters. Beowulf, whose real author is unknown, is
said to be one of the oldest pieces of English literature ever and is translated from
Old English by Seamus Heaney, tells the tale of a valiant member of the Geat people
who travels across the sea to help the Danes and King Hrothgar battle Grendel, a
vicious monstrosity who is ravaging the local area. Grendel is written by John
Gardner and tells the same tale of Beowulfs courageous attempt, while presenting
the story from Grendel s point of view, a new spin on the age old story. Point of
view plays a huge role in these stories, with Beowulf being read by a omniscient
narrator whose god like abilities seems to allow them to bounce around from the
past, present, and future. Grendel, on the other hand, is completely in first person
and rarely ventures away from that point of view, only when Grendel seems to have
the ability to read people s actions and minds without... Show more content on

Nor have I seen a mightier man at arms on this earth than the one standing here:
unless I am mistaken, he is truly noble. This is no mere hanger on in a hero s
armour, (19 Heaney). This scene shows just how majestic and heroic Beowulf is
and the point of view allows us to see what everyone is thinking in every situation,
giving us a god like view of the story. This constant input from all pieces of the
story aids the reader in seeing Beowulf as a true hero, primarily because of this
abrupt assumption by the Danish coast guard. Beowulf s grandiose image reinforces
the notion of what a hero looks and acts like and without the omniscient point of view
it wouldn t be the

Theme Of Hoot By Carl Hiaasen
Hoot by Carl Hiaasen tells the story of Roy, an eighth grade teenager who, after
moving to Coconut Cove Florida, finally feels at home, especially with a Mother
Paula s Pancakes joint opening up nearby. Until Roy finds that the construction of
this new pancake joint will end up destroying the habitat for the burrowing owls,
an endangered species. Roy then teams up with some unlikely allies to save the
burrowing owls, from destruction. The theme of rebellion is most clearly
demonstrated through the author s use of characters, conflict and motif. In Hoot,
the character of Roy shows his rebellion though his resistance of the school bully,
Dana Matherson. In the story, Dana has picked on Roy since day one, but Roy
constantly refuses to cower like everyone else on the bus to school. Every time he
moved from one place to another, Roy encountered a whole new set of bullies and
goons. He considered himself an expert on the breed. If he stood his ground, they
usually backed down or looked for someone else to hassle (Hiaasen 95). This quote
characterizes Roy as a character who won t fall in line with the other students and
cower,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The owls in this story represent the quiet Floridian town of Coconut Cove as a
whole. When Roy finally unites the town to stop the bulldozing of the burrowing
owls home, it symbolizes the town uniting to defend itself from big cooperation,
who just want to walk all over them. Look, every day we ve been reading about
regular people, ordinary Americans who made history because they got up and
fought for something they believed in. Okay I know we re just talking about a few
little and I know everybody is crazy about Mother Paula s pancakes, but what s
happening out there is just plain wrong (Hiaasen 248). In this quote, Roy asks his
classmates to not stand by but to rebel against this corporation in order to save the
owls, and by analyzing the motif, to save themselves as

Zebra In Julius Caesar
The stark, contrasting stripes of a zebra provide a surprisingly useful advantage
over its predators. Similar to how human eyes simplify and blur together the
hypnotic motion of a fast moving wheel which makes it seem as if the wheel were
slowly moving backward, the eyes of a predator blur and simplify the stripes of a
fast moving zebra. For example, when a zebra moves right, the predator may
perceive the zebra to have moved left. In Shakespeare s The Tragedy of Julius Caesar,
rather than the stripes of a zebra, Antony employs deceitful wordplay to veil his true
intent in Caesar s funeral speech to turn the citizens of Rome against the conspirators.
Antony humanizes and makes himself vulnerable through wordplay to turn the
audience against... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Antony depicts Caesar as a cordial man in his funeral speech while explaining
when... the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept (3.2.100). Caesar weeping for the
poor produces an image in the minds of the audience of a benevolent leader, this
makes the audience favor Caesar and question the reason behind Caesar s murder.
Consequently, the audience does not realize how Antony slowly manipulates them to
turn against the conspirators. The audience instead, gets caught up in the emotions
of anger towards the conspirators Antony s wordplay has evoked. Furthermore, the
synonyms cried and wept emphasize Caesar s sensitivity and kindness. When
Antony describes Caesar with the words cried and wept , Antony places Caesar in a
good light and compels the audience to question whether such a sensitive and
amiable man deserved such a brutal murder by unkind men. Antony further ennobles
Caesar when he reveals To every Roman citizen [Caesar] gives.../seventy five
drachmas (3.2.255 256). Antony relies on the appeal to greed to increase Caesar s
likeability, because it is human nature to want something with the minimum amount
of effort required. Therefore, when Antony discloses that every citizen of Rome gets
money without any work required, the audience feels overjoyed. The audience
consequently sees Caesar as a saintly figure, and due to their greed, the citizens of
Rome conclude Caesar was wrongly

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this report is to delve into the importance and study the major
features of the Vedic Age and its contribution to today s world.
INTRODUCTION
The Vedic period also referred to as the vedic age was that period in the Indian
History during which the Vedas, the oldest scriptures of Hinduism were composed.
The Indo Aryans, settled in North India were very closely related to the Vedic Age
and its inception. They played a key role in bringing in specific religious traditions
and customs which is commonly referred to as the Vedic Civilization. In the
civilizations early days, it was a tribal and pastoral society based in the northwestern
parts of the Indian Subcontinent. It spread to the Ganges Plain after 1200 BCE
shaped by the increasing settled agriculture, a hierarchy of four social classes and the
unfolding of monarchial, state level polities.
ORIGIN AND HOME OF THE ARYANS
The first rays of the sun pierced through and the Sun of Vedic Culture rose on the
horizon of Indian History. Who were their ancestors and where do they become
apparent in our cultural view. Questions like this have

Vaults In Roman Architecture
With the invention of concrete, the Romans perfected making the arches and were
able to create domes and vaults. The arch was and is still used as design for
openings, entryways, doors and bridges. The vault is simply and arch with an
increased in depth as seen in construction of their ceilings. The construction of vaults
was used in the construction of imperial palaces and public buildings to create vast
interior spaces. The Union Station in Washington D.C. is an example modern
architecture with vaulted ceilings. The Roman basilica was a building in which
judicial, commercial and governmental activities took place. It became the primary
model for architectural design of modern Christian churches. These buildings usually

The center of the dome in Pantheon has an opening of 27 feet, which is enough for
sunlight to enter as it lights the earth and it also allows rain and air to enter to
provide cooling inside the building. The Byzantine Empire adopted this in their
architecture and was followed during the Renaissance period. The Setia Corporate
Headquarters in Shah Alam, Malaysia is an example of modern building with
oculus. The same in Pantheon the oculus is open and it allows the water during rainy
season to enter the building and is collected into its fountain. The oculus illuminates
the dark walled interior and creates a dynamic reflection on its marbled floor and
glass walls. Pompeii is a town in Ancient Rome that has been frozen in time.
Through systematic excavation the people discovered the amount of colors on the
walls of the buildings particularly in the villas of rich citizens and public buildings.
They have painted their walls with architecture, still life, mythological scene or any
decorative patterns. These paintings used a technique called fresco in which it is
executed on wet plaster. The Romans used several pigments in their fresco painting
to make it and it displays their

A Summary Of The Fifteenth Amendment
In 1863, Abraham Lincoln passed the Emancipation Proclamation which freed
African Americans slaves in the Confederate states. After the Civil War, the
Thirteenth Amendment emancipated all United States slaves. As a result, the mass
of freed blacks in the South now faced the hostility of whites. As the social
challenges arose, the freedmen experienced difficulty being accepted as just that
freed men. One freedman, Houston Hartsfield Holloway, wrote, for we colored
people did not know how to be free and the white peopledid not know how to have a
free colored person about them. The nation was unprepared for the questions of rights
and citizenship of its newly freed population and the turmoil that came with it. Due to
the unwillingness of whites,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Besides being required to acknowledge and practice the Thirteenth Amendment,
pledge allegiance to the United States, and pay off war debt (about 5.2 billion
dollars), Southern state governments were given the right to rebuild themselves.
Because of Johnson s leniency, Southern states created a series of laws known as the
Black Codes, designed to restrict freedmen s activity and open their availability as a
labor force; technically employed, but treated like slaves. These oppressive codes
angered many in the North, including members of Congress. In 1866, Congress sent
the Civil Rights and Freedmen s Bureau Bill to Johnson for his signature. The first
bill extended the life of Freedmen s Bureau, originally established as a temporary
organization, while the second defined all people born in the United States as
national citizens. Johnson vetoed both bills, stating, I regret that the bill which has
passed both Houses of Congress, entitled An Act to protect all persons in the United
States in their civil rights, and furnish the means of their vindication, contains
provisions which I cannot approve, consistently with my sense of duty to the whole
people, and my obligations to the Constitution of the United States. I am, therefore,
constrained to return it to the Senate with my objections to its becoming law. Johnson
was later impeached, due to the constant turmoil with

DNS:
DNS is a protocol with some protocols for computers in exchanging data over the
Internet. Its basic job is to turn a user friendly domain name like google.com into an
Internet Protocol (IP) address like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for IPv4 that computers use to
identify each other on the network.Infact Google Public DNS is largest DNS service
in the world which handles more than 400 billion requests a day. All the host devices
on the internet use an identity which is called an IP Address to establish a connection
with site they are need. With the DNS service, we don t need to remember the
whole bunch of numbers stacked at each decimal point. We just use a DNS server or
name server and access the sites with specific names. And this DNS server ... Show

STEP 2 :
REQUEST THE DNS SERVERS:
Lets consider the latter case in Step 1, if the information is not stored in local
devices, the computer contacts the Internet Service Providers DNS Servers (in
recent times, Recursive DNS Servers). These computers perform the query on behalf
of the user. All the DNS servers have their own caches, so the query ends when the
information is delivered to the user.
STEP 3:
ASK THE ROOT NAME SERVERS:
If the Recursive DNS servers are not able to send the response or they don t have
the enough information for the query, then the Root name servers come into the
picture. A name server is a computer that responds to queries about the Domain
names. There are 13 Root Name servers . These servers act as a bridge in directing
the query to answerable resources if it doesn t have enough information.
STEP 4:
TOP LEVEL DOMAIN:
The Root Name servers will direct the query to the Top Level Domain for the .com
which have their own nameserver set which makes a distinction for TLD. Same as
the Root Name servers, they direct to their servers which have the information.
STEP 5 :
The Top Level domain name servers direct the query specific namerservers. There are
Authoritative servers have the information in DNS records.

Free Will In Shakespeare s Macbeth
The future is a mystery and people do not know what holds for them in the future,
but knowing the future can lead to a disastrous ending. In the play Macbeth by
William Shakespeare, a brave lord name Macbeth was once great, but tragically lost
everything after being told about his future and what he is destined for. Macbeth
would soon be motivated by these prophecies and would start doing terrible deed
just so no one can get in his way. Macbeth s action starts to depend on the
prophecies and he soon would start to get confident, but would start to lose things in
his life one by one due to his highly confident thinking and also leads to his failure.
The prophecies are told by the three witches and they are told a certain way which
would make Macbeth curious. For the first prophecy the witches greets Macbeth All
hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis! (I.iii.51). In this quote, the three
witches tells Macbeth that he is the thane of Glamis, which Macbeth knows it s
already true. The second sets of prophecies was introduced later in the play and ...

Analysis Of Street Light By Giacomo Balla
I chose to travel to the Museum of Modern Art for this assignment. Once I was
there, I wasn t sure which artwork I wanted to focus my analysis on. At first I was
overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the museum (I have never been), but after a
little while I gained my bearings and began to explore for 20th century art. After
viewing many of the paintings that we discussed in depth in class and many that we
did not, I decided to write my analysis on Street Light, by Giacomo Balla. I chose this
paintingbecause the colors and aspects of it intrigue me. I am also familiar with it,
which can help aid me in my analysis. I was extremely interested when we discussed
Futurismin class, and I was happy that I could find something in the Museum of
Modern Artthat had to do with that particular movement, especially a painting that
we touched upon. The painting itself was much larger than I anticipated in person,
and stood taller than me the way it was mounted on the wall. The colors were more
vibrant than any picture online could convey, and I found that I had to restrain
myself from physically touching the lines of color that symbolized the street lamps
light. Up close, I was able to notice the finer details of the work. The lines seemed a
little messier and more hastily painted than I had originally thought, however, this
added to the movement of the piece overall. I found myself wishing that the lines of
color pushed to the boundaries of the painting rather than ending before

Cause Of The French Revolution
The French revolution was spread over a ten year period between the years of 1789
and 1799. The main cause of the revolution was disputes concerning the people s
different ideas concerning reform. The use of money by then king Louis XIV
angered the people as they wanted a new system of government. Considering the
writings of Voltaireand Diderot were critical of the government, they said nor one
official in power was corrupt but the whole system of government needed some
changes. Eventually, when royal finances were expended during the 1780s, there was

It was the model constitution for the rule of the bourgeoisie as the non noble section
of the property owning class within the society. Its preamble proclaimed in
revolutionary terms, the complete abolition of the aristocracy. The abolition of a
distinction between the noble and non noble property owners and provision for a
constitutional government responsible to the assembly of property owners elected on
a restricted franchise was objective of the revolution.
After the first moderate stage, the bourgeoisie wanted the revolution to end with
them in power, though the rest of the third estate and the masses were not happy with
this of course, considering the marginalization after the higher middle class took
power. A lot of people did not earn enough money to get these rights. They felt their
lives had not really changed but that they had a new and unfair master. The
bourgeoisie had replaced the aristocracy and they now dominated the poor people.

The Government s Freedom Of Press
Since the Turkish state was founded by Mustafa Kemal AtatГ јrk in 1923, the press in
Turkey has never been free. The first government was ruled by the AtatГ јrk s party,
the Republican People s Party (CHP), which claimed to be liberal and modernist;
however, they made a law which could shut down and /or censor any newspapers
which they did not like. (Bulut, 2015). During the CHP era, 130 newspapers and
magazines were banned. Although many parties names have changed throughout the
years, the ruling ideology has been the same. For instance, during the rule of Prime
Minister Adnan Menderes(1950 1960, Democrat Party), 161 newspapers were
banned (YД±lmaz, Doganer, 2007). Unfortunately, today s freedom of press in
Turkey has further worsened. At the end of 2011, 110,000 websites were shut down
by the AKP governments attempts. (Depeli, 2012). Many journalists were arrested,
tortured and imprisoned. Most of the cases were associated with terrorism.
According to the BIA Media Monitoring Reports, 104 journalists and 30 distributors
were imprisoned in 2012. Also 64 of the journalists were Kurdish as well as almost
all distributors. (Depeli, 20112).
When AtatГ јrk founded the Republic of Turkey, his ideology was to westernize the
country through changing the education and political systems. Even though the
majority of the population of Turkey supported the Kemalist (AtatГ јrkist) ideology
today and his modern world view , they never acknowledge some of the genocides
that happened

Social And Emotional Intelligence Quotient
Social and emotional intelligence refers to the quotient of competency one
possesses in the areas of self awareness and social awareness. With the ability to be
crafted throughout the course of one s life, SEI is a learned skill or cognitive skill.
Thus, one can alter his/her social and emotional intelligence quotient (SEIQ), making
it subject to either improvement or decline. SEI is divided into two separate
categories of Intrapersonal and Interpersonal. The Intrapersonal category relates to
one s capacity to manage his/her own feelings and emotions. The interpersonal side
refers to the discernment of the emotions and feelings of others. Social and Emotional

Given the traits this quadrant was comprised of, I fully anticipated scoring highly
in Other Awareness. On the other hand, I was slightly surprised that Self
Management proved to be my weakest quadrant. However, I am by no means
confused by this when I consider which traits brought that overall score down.
That said, I do agree with my overall quadrant scores and can definitely see these
score as an apt reflection of my personal strengths and weaknesses in these areas.
Within the 26 individual trait scores, I gained a great deal of insight into what areas
I excel in and what areas I should focus on improving. My highest scored traits were
Empathy (15), Situational Awareness (14), Service Orientation (14), and Emotional
Self Awareness (14). Empathy is defined as the ability to sense the feelings and
perspectives of other, whilst taking an active interest in their concerns (Institute for
Social + Emotional Intelligence, 2015). This is an area that I know myself to be
extremely strong in and thus figured on it being one of my highest scoring traits. The
ability to be empathetic towards others comes very naturally to me, so much so that I
have a tendency to overexert and exhaust myself frequently. Wanting to help, support,
and understand others emotionally is an integral part of my personality and I very
rarely experience difficulty in understanding someone on an emotional level.
However, I sometimes go into emotional

The Effect Of Temperature On Rate Of Enzyme Activity
Period 1
10/05/15
The Effect of Temperature on Rate of Enzyme Activity of Different Enzymes
Abstract/Purpose:
The main objective of this experiment was to determine how different factors, such as
the type of enzyme and the temperatures that each of the enzymes were exposed to,
could affect the rate of enzyme activity. In order to measure this, a potato enzyme and
liver enzyme were placed in four different temperatures for 24 hours. Each enzyme
was then placed in a test tube with hydrogen peroxide and the rate of enzyme activity
was measured. The result was that the rate of enzyme activity decreased as the
temperature increased for the liver enzyme, but increased for the potato enzyme.
Introduction/Hypothesis:
An enzyme is usually a protein that works as a catalyst, which is anything that helps
to speed up, or catalyze, the chemical reaction (Bolster Moss, n.d.). To speed up a
chemical reaction, enzymes lower the activation energy, which is the initial energy
required for a reaction to occur by applying heat. However, enzymes are very
substrate specific, only acting on specific reactants, which are the substrates, and
consequently, enzymes are selective in the chemical reactions that they catalyze.
Since an enzyme is a protein, each enzyme has a specific amino acid sequence, which
determines its shape and eventually, the reactions that it will catalyze. In this way, an
enzyme supports the biological theme that form fits function. Each substrate binds to
the enzyme

Essay on The Values, Ideals, and Actions of Fanny Fern
The Values, Ideals, and Actions of Fanny Fern
Literature from the 1820Г ўs to the 1860Г ўs brought attention to the expanse of the
American experience and gave rise to many unique voices. Some of the best writers
of this era challenged their fellow citizens to live up to the ideals that the founding
fathers had written into America s sacred documents. The voices that cast these
challenges are as varied and wide spread in their approach as this nation s natural
boundaries are diverse. Fanny Fern (1811 1872), was one of the writers who made a
big splash with her fearless unconventionality during this literary renaissance. Her
masterful use of satire and her belief that the ideal of individualism should include
women, gained her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She recorded her personal experiences in a autobiographical novel titled Ruth Hall.
Like the heroine in her novel, Fern overcame the poverty that her widowhood
created by writing articles for local newspapers. In a Franklinian fashion she rose
from rags to riches.
When Fern embarked on her writing career, she was criticized for her style and
subjects. According to N.P. Willis, FernГ ўs brother, FernГ ўs writing was vulgar
andВ·the style was noisyВ·(White 2037). Some of this criticism remains relevant
today. Although many readers consider FernГ ўs style as human and spontaneous,
some are bothered by all the italics, dashes, and exclamation points. FernГ ўs allusions
can also be confusing or dated as in Peeps from under a Parasol (Fern 270).
According to Joyce W. WarrenГ ўs editing, Peeps , a four and a half page essay,
required nineteen explanatory notes! The majority of the criticism Fern received
from her contemporaries was aimed at her behavior and voice as an unwomanly
writer. As a woman she wasВ·not supposed to be angry or satirical or to know
about the dark side of life (Warren 343). In answer to these criticisms, I believe Fern
took to heart the wisdom in the essay by Ralph Waldo Emerson, concerning self
reliance: В· learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across
[oneГўs] mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages
(Emerson 1622).

Faux Painting Techniques
Adding a touch of elegance to any room in the home is easy with one of the many
faux painting techniques, and painting with a natural sea sponge gives you a
chance to create a beautiful aged or textured look. The irregular bumps and holes
found on a sponge leave natural patterns in the paint. Using two or more colors
creates a faux finish that can mimic rough plaster, rich velvet wallpaper or expensive
stone. Examine the material you want to mimic in depth to pick the colors you need
and determine which kind of sponge will work best.
Picking a sponge based faux finish offers a variety of benefits to DIY painters.
Sponge painting requires less preparation. You can apply both a base and top color
with the sponge, eliminating the extra step of painting the wall before you start.
Sponge painting also allows you to take breaks and work on small sections of a wall
at a time. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
High gloss acrylic wall paint works just as well as enamel or latex products with a
natural sea sponge. Pick up at least three different colors. Look for the base color, a
lighter version to match it and a contrasting accent color. Use the color cards at the
paint store to create a complementary palette. Start with the light shade first, and dab
a little on the wall. Leave a few empty areas between dabs, and then fill those
spaces in with your primary base coat color. Dip between the two colors freely to
blend them together smoothly on the wall. Once you have a base with the right
texture, add some contrast with your third color. Add more of each color until you
have achieved the faux finish you are looking for.
Faux painting is an art form, so don t be discouraged if you don t get perfect results
on your first try. Adjusting your pattern as you work will help you create exactly the
finish you want. Practice on some leftover drywall or plywood first to get a feel for
the technique of painting with a natural sea sponge.

Diesel trucks, in turn, often times require lube and oil changes more frequently due to
the fact that the trucks are being used for heavy duty workloads and long distance
transporting.
The primary reason for lube and oil changes is to help keep your engine running
smoothly. The oil acts as a lubricant on the engine s moving parts. As this gets used,
contaminants will build up inside the liquid. This substance makes it much more

selflessness in his life. The events that embodied his selflessness the most is when
he spent a whole day at his aunt s house preparing for his nieces birthday party. He
helped out and hustled on decorations, food, and watching over all the little kids and
it showed how willing he was to help others. Another event that happened was when I

Need To Belong In Module Analysis

while this section was being presented.
Aristotle described The Affiliation Need as the need to build relationships and feel a
part of a group. The reason this stood out to me is because every single person has
this need. Everyone wants to feel like they are a part of something; they want to be
included. I have seen this need being wanted and successfully given, but more
importantly, I have seen, first hand, the Affiliation Need not be met. For example,
my coworker is one that likes to be involved in every conversation that my manager
has. Us three always go to each other when there

The Happiest Girl In The World Summary
Augusta Davies Webster s dramatic monologue, The Happiest Girl in the World
complicates the traditional view of dramatic monologue as a genre. Webster s
dramatic monologue keeps most of the criteria of a dramatic monologue while
taking out the unnecessary parts of the genre. Webster s dramatic monologue call
in the question for a need of an auditor as well as for dramatic action. Webster
chose to have her speaker have action within herself rather than performing an
action. Webster also did not add an auditor because an important part of the criteria
for a dramatic monologue can be fulfilled without one. With these two changes
Webster adds to her dramatic monologue it calls into question for the need of
dramatic action and silent auditors. Webster s Happiest Girl in the World is a
dramatic monologue that appears to complicate the traditional view of the dramatic
monologue. This complication which displays how the genre dramatic monologue
is unnecessarily complicated and should be revised. To start off, dramatic
monologues traditional have a dramatic action. In The Happiest Girl in the World
Webster decided that her speaker did not need to have a dramatic action. Instead
Webster has her speaker watching the storm across the lake while waiting to see of
her fiancГ© will come to see her that day. What is often forgotten in the genre
dramatic monologues is that the speaker does not necessarily need to be in any sort
of action. Many dramatic monologues today have their

The Desert Tortoise Essay
The battle between the federal governments, Bureau of Land Management and
Cliven Bundy began back in the 1990 s. For several years the problems between
the Bundy family and the BLM went unnoticed until a protest occurred in April of
2014 over confiscated cattle. In Early April of 2014, the BLM rounded up Mr.
Bundy s cattle and took them away, leaving him with nothing to his name and no
way to make a living. All this was done in the name of a tortoisepopulation which has
been slowly declining in population numbers for several decades sense the wild west
had been cultivated. While the Center for Biological Conservation believe the desert
tortoiseis negatively impacted by grazing cattle studies suggest the stability of the
desert tortoise comes from their symbiotic relationship with grazing cattle. Many
questioned if Cliven Budy was justified in his actions, or if the BLM should have
acted with more force against Bundy. Though some say he has acted unlawfully, I
believe Cliven Bundy s actions were necessary to insure the wellbeing of his
livelihood. Furthermore, the US government should have attempted to collaborate or
compromise with Bundy before confiscating his cattle. Americans have a right to
object to laws they do not support. The U.S Bill of Rightsclearly outlines the rights all
American citizens have to safety, security, fair judicial sentencing and freedoms of
speech, religion and even gun ownership. Specially Amendment one states American

So they should act each other on the basis of the principle of universal brotherhood.
All most the international human rights instruments protect the ethnic minorities in
their own country and asylum country. Though Bangladesh and Myanmar have no

of stateless persons. Bangladesh and Myanmar are parties of the UN Charter,

How Does Henry s Character Change Throughout The
Novel
In terms of characters and characterization (versus plot and theme), A Farewell to
Arms is the story of Lieutenant Frederic Henry and the way he grows and changes,
lives and learns, in order to catch up to the Nurse Catherine Barkley with respect to
experience and the wisdom that it brings. Especially considering that Ernest
Hemingwayhas been accused of misogyny, it is fascinating to note that Catherine is
the more mature of the two characters when they meet; therefore, it is Henry who
must struggle to match her level of maturity.
Returning from his leave near the start of the novel, Henry knows he should have
traveled to the priest s home region of Abruzzi, a place where the roads were frozen
and hard as iron, where it was clear and cold ... Show more content on

This change is demonstrated at the start of Chapter XXXIV, after Henry s desertion
from the Italian army. Of the hostile aviators with whom he shares a train
compartment, he says that in the old days I would have insulted them and picked a
fight. Now, no longer insecure due to his experiences in love and war, he does not
even feel insulted. In fact, as his talk with Count Greffi reveals, the once indifferent
Henry has truly found something to believe in. He tells the Count that what he values
most is someone he loves and that he might become very devout, elaborating that his
religious feeling comes at night. Like Catherine, Henry has made a religion of their
love. For that matter, he has replaced his loyalty to the Italian army with loyalty to
Catherine.
In Switzerland, Catherine suggests she and Henry wear their hair the same length,
so as to be more alike. Oh darling, she says, I want you so much I want to be you
too. Henry replies, You are. We re the same one. And regarding experience and the
maturity it yields, he is right. At last Frederic Henry has drawn abreast of Catherine
Barkley with respect to wisdom about the world. How has he done so? By
participating in love and war, and by making the hard choices that both

Woman s Civil Right
A Women s Civil Right
The speech A Women s Civil Right was written in 1969 and the feminist author
Betty Friedan delivered it. Betty Friedan was a proponent of the modern women s
movement and claimed that women in 1969 and onwards should not be trapped in
the stereotypical housewife role. Friedan was convinces that social barriers in the
society kept women imprisoned in the housewife trap . She wanted women to have
better career opportunities, introduce equality with men and to eliminate the illusion
of the happy housewife . This specific speech announces that abortion should be a
part of a women s civil right.
Betty Friedan singles out women to be the invisible minority in America. The
invisible women in the American society ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By means of a forceful argument, Friedan clarifies her political position by using a
rhetorical device called confutation. Betty Freidan makes certain reservations in her
argument because she is aware of a possible opposing argument: Am I saying that
women must be liberated fro motherhood? No. I am saying that motherhood will only
be a joyous and responsible human act when women are free to make, with full
conscious choice and full human responsibility, the decisions to become mothers p. 2,
l.8. The confutation is used to destroy the conceivable objections against the
argument: The essence of the denigration of women is our definition as sex objects .
Betty Friedan supports abortion on demand. She believes that mother s should have
the liberty of choice. Mother s ought to have the rights to creativity beyond being a
mother. This creativity involves pursuing a career in different occupations and to
reject the prejudices about being feminine. Friedan insists on a woman s right to
choose whether to have a child or not. She thinks that motherhood will be accepted
joyfully and as a great experience in life, if the choice was freely chosen. The
conflicts of being a mother will not exist once women are the masters of their own
faith and the captain of their souls: I am saying that motherhood will only be a
joyous and responsible human act when women are free to make, with full conscious
choice and full human responsibility, the decisions to

What Is The Theme Of Science And Technology In
Frankenstein
In the novel Frankenstein, Mary Shelley expresses her sentiments regarding the
conflict between the ethical standards and science and technology of her time.
Through her illustration of the morally illiterate, Victor Frankenstein, she depicts
science and understanding as a factor with the potential to create monstrous forces to
displace man from their home in nature. However through Shelly s development of
Frankenstein, she ensures the reader that for every monstrous force that science
creates, nature imposes an equal and opposite reaction force in order to restore the
moral compass of man. As her society enters the New Victorian period, she
emphasizes the importance of upholding moralitywhile advancing to this period of
industrialization.
At the very essence of the natural state of man is life, a property that Shelly
believes is being exploited and endangered by the advancement of science and
technology. In a letter to his sister, Frankenstein s brother, Walton, writes that One
man s life or death were but a small price to pay for the acquirement of the
knowledge which I sought . Shelly is quick to expose the capability of science to
cause man to undervalue life, a basic principle of their foundation, early on in her
novel. Shelley conveys that man embraces this greed for science and is willing to
abolish the essence of nature, life, to satisfy this greed. Man s greed motivates him
to penetrate into the recesses of nature and show how she works in her hiding places.

Exploration of Clinical and Counseling Psychology
Clinical and counseling psychology has been one of the potential career field I may
be pursuing in the near future. I have been very interested in both but currently
unsure which career path is for me. In order to help myself reach definite terms on
what is the possible career path I would like to pursue between clinical and
counseling psychology, it is of great significance to continue my ongoing knowledge
and exploration about the clinical and counseling career field. I have always been
interested on working with people of mental disorders. An uncle of mine and my
older brother suffers from schizophrenia. A number of close relative members
suffers from depression ranging from severe to mild depression. One of them have
attempted suicide three times in the past. There is also history of anxiety disorders
in my family. These personal relationship towards people with mental disorders have
sparked my interest to work directly with people of mental disorders. Practitioners
who work directly with people of mental disorders are typically clinical
psychologists. Practitioners in clinical psychologyinvolves applications of principles,
methods, and procedures for understanding, predicting, and alleviating intellectual,
emotional, biological, psychological, social and behavioral maladjustment, disability
and discomfort, applied to a wide range of client populations (Kamer, 2009). This is
something I can see myself doing in the future. Now, my interest with

The Biblical References Of The Bible
As stated, similarly, this wicked occurrence of the jinn seems to parallel the
Hebrews with the practice of Seirim worship, only acknowledging them by different
names. Still, the Hebrews Exile onwards had reached a religious development quite
advanced beyond their distant ancestors. As discussed, the fact that they would not
permit any reference to beliefs that transpired as detestable to them and took
measures to illuminate their destruction, helped to curve their involvement.
Certainly, so far as necromancy (the practice of supposedly communicating with the
spirits of the dead in order to predict the future) occurs, we see in the majority of

evasively vague or not mentioned at all. Creditably, this explanation clarifies why the
Biblical referencing to Satan or goat devils occurs elusively nonexistent.
Song Sung by Goatmen
The possibility that the glamour of Hollywood evolved from an ugly goat creature,
transpires as not very prestigious; however, this actuality may not be too
preposterous. Various commentators have puzzled over the intertwining of the
theater originating from both tragedy and comedy. Perpetually, its first phase
becomes appropriately formulated from the Greek Tragedy Plays; which follows
after the shadows generated by Pan.

Epa s Clean Power Plan
Memorandum
FromHarshit Jayaswal
DateOctober 07, 2015
SubjectBriefings on EPA s Clean Power Plan: How state emission budgets were
established, and legal (reasonableness and fairness) issues.
This memo is my interpretation on the readings of EPA s clean power plan specific
to how state budgets where established and legal issues emphasizing the fairness and
reasonableness towards the states.
1.0Overview
The clean power plan was adopted by the EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency) on August 03, 2015 to regulate carbon emissions from existing power plants.
Under the Supreme Court decision in Massachusetts v. EPA , greenhouse gases meet
the definition of air pollutants under the Clean Air Act, implying they need to be
controlled, if ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is determined to reduce carbon emissions from the power sector 32 % of 2005
levels by 2030. The primary objective of the clean power plan is to establish unique
emission rate goals and mass equivalents for each individual state to reach this target.
2.0How state emission budgets where established
The clean Air Act under the section 111(d) creates a partnership between EPA,
states, tribes and U.S. territories with EPA setting a goal and states and tribes
choosing how they will meet it. EPA is defining interim and final CO2 emission
performance rates for two subcategories of fossil fuel fired electric generating units
(EGU s):
1.1,305 lbs/MWh for existing fossil fuel fired electric steam generating units
(generally, coal fired power plants)
2.771 lbs/MWh for existing natural gas combined cycle units
EPA has also established statewide interim and final goals in 2 forms to give a wide
range of choices for states in implementing these standards like:
1.A rate based state goal measured in pounds per megawatt hour (lb/MWh);
2.A mass based state goal measured in total short tons of CO2
States then have to develop and implement plans for power plants in their state either
individually, in group or by applying other measures to meet with the interim
reduction goals in between 2022 2029 and final goal by 2030.
2.1BSER: Best system of emissions reduction
The basis for the emissions reductions in the EPA s proposed rule is a review of the

The Total Number Of Valid Sudoku Grids
The Total Number of Valid Sudoku Grids
Introduction
Sudoku s roots can be traced back to 1780 s Switzerland, when Swiss mathematician
Leonhard Euler developed Latin Squares the concept of arranging symbols within a
grid such that each symbol would appear only once in each row or column which is
the basis of Sudoku. Thus, most would attribute the invention of Sudoku to
Switzerland, even though the puzzle s name consists of two Japanese characters: su
(which means number ) and doku (which means single ). I, along with many others
around the world, enjoy the challenge that Sudoku puzzles present, and have done
so since I was about twelve years old. I have always taken for granted the apparently
random amount and placement of given numbers for each particular puzzle, and
never wondered why or how I solved the puzzle each time; until now, that is.
The aim of this exploration is to to find the number of distinct Sudoku grids.
Understanding the Rules of Sudoku
The format of a Sudoku puzzle is a nine by nine grid with at least seventeen givens,
or cells that are already occupied by numbers that are known to be correct. The grid is
subdivided into nine three by three blocks, nine rows, and nine columns, as Figures 1,
2, and 3 respectively demonstrate below:
Figure 1Figure 2Figure 3
Each block can be further divided into cells as shown in Figure 4:

Each cell has a neighborhood, which includes the block, row, and column specific to a

Persuasive Essay On Recycled Water
Did you know that the average American household uses 400 gallons of water per
day? With most of it being used in the bathroom for bathing, toilet flushing,
handwashing and brushing of teeth! Other common uses for water include laundry,
dishwashing, drinking, cooking, car washing and even watering of lawns. Where
does this water go? A small portion will go back into the earth but most of it will
flow through a sewer system heading to a sewage treatmentplant to eventually be
reused. In California, we get our water from a surface water source, coming from a
river, lake, or reservoir. With the yearly average amount of rain and snow at 30
inches and shrinking per year, this makes water recycling a priority in today s efforts
on conservation. So, what is recycled water?
Recycled water is former wastewater that has gone through a process to remove
contaminants so that it can be used for other purposes such as irrigation for crops
and landscape ( Water Recycling and Reuse ). Another source of recycled water is
gray water, which is reusable wastewater from residential, commercial and industrial
bathroom sinks, bath tub shower drains and clothes washing equipment drains (
Water Recycling and Reuse ). The treatment process includes three steps, first any
solids are removed from the water. Secondly, microorganisms are added to the water
to eat dirt particles and as they get fatter, they ll fall to the bottom of the tank, leaving
cleaner water rising to the top. Lastly, water is

The leader is responsible for selecting mentors for the induction process from the staff
depending upon the requirements of the induction process. The mentors should have
the skills, expertise and knowledge to coordinate the induction effectively. The
observations and notes taken from the induction process states where the new staff is
standing and now what skills and abilities should be focused for further development.
Thus the progression should continue to give the new staff a chance to enhance their
qualifications and skill where they lack.
1.4
Analyze the role of the induction process in supporting others to understand the
values, principles and agreed ways of working within a work setting
The induction is a planned process which involves various members. The process
of induction depends upon how clear and effective your induction policy is. The
policy clearly states the role of each member involved in the induction process; and
there is a checklist present for each phase. In this way let a newbie join at the
beginning of the session or in the mid of the session every newbie is going to enjoy
the induction process so that she understands all her duties and responsibilities

Girls On the Run: A Nonprofit Organization The field of Human Services can be
understood as a department focused on meeting and improving human needs and
quality of life. A human service professional has a multitude of means to accomplish
this goal; through soup kitchens, hospice care and everything in between. One of the
many existing human service organizations is a company called Girls on the Run.
This human service organization is a positive youth development sport program
aimed at young girls between the ages of 8 and 14. The goal of a youth development

The Evolution Of Afric Evolution And Human Evolution
Human evolution is the gradual process in which people, or Homo sapiens,
originated from apelike ancestors. Scientific evidence, particularly in the form of
fossils and secondary remains, show that the physical and behavioral traits shared
by all people evolved over a period of approximately six million years. Humans are
primates. Both genetic and physical similarities show that humans and the great apes
(large apes) of Africa, chimpanzees (including bonobos, or so called pygmy
chimpanzees ) and gorillas share a common ancestor that lived between 8 and 6
million years ago. The volume of fossils found in Africa suggests that most evolution
occurred there and is likely the place of origin for early humans. This brings to
fruition the out of Africa theory, also called the single origin hypothesis.
The out of Africa theory implies that Anatomically modern humans evolved in East
Africa between 400,000 and 200,000 years ago and began to disperse throughout the
world roughly 70,000 to 135,000 years ago. In 2011, scientists came to the
conclusion there were likely two major waves of migration out of Africa the Early
northern Africa dispersal and Southern Route dispersal.
The early northern Africa dispersal occurred 130,000 115,000 years ago, as a result
of tropical Africa experiencing megadroughts, forcing humans towards the seashores
for food and water. Certain groups attempted to cross over to other continents in
search for viable living conditions, but many retreated or

Wisdom In Plato s The Apology
Wisdom is a particular and complicated concept to explain and understand mainly
because different people have different ideas of what it is. In the past, wisdom was
associated with elderlies who had experienced a lot through their life journey.
Therefore, they were knowledgeable , and they were considered important decision
makers in regards of matters in the society. Human wisdomis not simply knowing
something or claiming to know something. Many may claim that they know things
beyond what they are experts on, which actually shows an arrogant behavior. A wise
man is rather a man who knows humility. In fact, taking Socrates example in
consideration, as written by Platoin The Apology, a truly wise man is who knows that
he is not wise.
Today, a lot of important and successful people like to claim that they possess
wisdom. To be accurate, their behavior is not much different from the one of many
important Athenians in Socrates time. In fact, life repeats itself in a way. People
who are blinded by the materialistic and futil sides of life, ... Show more content on

He never claimed to know everything, even though he knew a whole lot about
many aspects of life. He did not have the type of education with which we are

different areas. He read poetry, and even wrote poems of his own. He learnt on his
own how to build things out of wood, shells, and even bottle corks. His beautiful
creations were pure art; therefore, he was an artist. After he retired, he decided to
work in an art gallery, always eager to learn more, but never claiming to know more
than others. In this, he was an example of humility, and if humility is a quality of a
wise man, then he was definitely one. In fact, he believed in inner qualities like

Breast Feeding Vs. The Bottle
Breast feeding vs. The Bottle: The Decision is yours Some mothers have to give
up breastfeeding even though they want to breastfeed. To give up breastfeeding
can be a sensitive issue in a time when breastfeeding is promoted as the healthiest
for mother and child (Larsen Kronborg, 2013, p. 848). The debate over whether
breast feeding is better than bottle feeding or vice versa has been a debate for
many years. With more and more research that is continuously being developed, the
option to breast feed or bottle feed is ultimately up to the parents of the child.
Although the decision could be based on factors such as a physical incapability or
financial burdens, the end result should always be what is going to be best for the
baby. As research continues to grow, there has been proven evidence of the positive
and negative aspects that come with breast feeding and bottle feeding.
The Benefits of Breast Feeding Starting from infancy, parents have the right to make
the decisions in their new child s life, which includes breast feeding their child. Infant
nutrition is important in development and health throughout life (Klag, McNamara,
Geraghty, Keim, 2015, p. 1059) Although the process has been known to bring some
complications and many attempts, the end result has been proven to be beneficial to
not only the infant during that time but can be tracked in their life down the line.

Inner Ring Essay

Inner Rings and the Motives that Come Along C.S Lewis delivered a speech named
The Inner Ring at King s College, a University in London. As Lewis continues on in
his speech, one may be a little thrown off by what these inner rings are and what
exactly they mean to people. Although Lewis mentions both good and harmful inner
rings, one could argue that most people find themselves so caught up in these inner
rings they do not even realize they are trying to be involved in them for the wrong
reasons. Some people strive to have a certain appearance that comes along with being
involved in these inner rings that they tend to forget what really is important to them.
... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some of these inner rings are the reason we have competition, jealously and spite
in the world. It is not right for one to feel left out just because they do not have
certain traits or don t have the same views as another. Lewis even acknowledges
this with his passage, Unless you take measures to prevent it, this desire is going
to be one of the chief motives of your life, from the first day on which you enter
your profession until the day when you are too old to care (Lewis 152). An
example of today s inner ring would be fraternities at Colleges. People who aren t
part of a certain fraternity would feel left out when they see the Frat s doing
activities only Frat members are allowed to do. This might make one feel the need
to fit in and do certain things they do not enjoy just to be accepted in a fraternity.
Although this particular example does not apply to everybody, it still does not hide
these inner rings because they can be found everywhere.

Another example of an inner ring existing is social class in itself. Rich hang out with
the rich, poor hang out with the poor. People obviously have different
circumstances that make their social class rich or poor, but the ring still exists.
Lower class people feel left out when they see the upper class driving nicer cars,
eating expensive dinners, and living in expensive homes. While on the other end,
lower class workers are living pay check to
