Essay About Your Favorite Teacher
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Essay About Your Favorite Teacher" may seem deceptively
simple at first glance, as it involves a subject that should ideally be close to your heart. However,
delving into the intricacies of your personal connection with a teacher and articulating those
sentiments coherently can be a challenging endeavor.
To begin with, the challenge lies in striking the right balance between objectivity and subjectivity.
You want to portray your favorite teacher in a positive light, emphasizing their impact on your
life, academic journey, and overall growth. However, steering clear of overly sentimental or
clichГ©d expressions requires a careful choice of words and a nuanced approach to storytelling.
Moreover, finding the right structure for the essay poses another hurdle. A chronological account
of your experiences with the teacher might seem straightforward, but maintaining a captivating
narrative flow while avoiding monotony demands careful planning and effective transitions.
Balancing anecdotes with reflections on the teacher's teaching methods and personality traits
further complicates the task.
Selecting the appropriate tone is yet another challenge. Striking a balance between admiration
and critical analysis can be tricky, as you want to convey genuine appreciation without veering
into hyperbole. Additionally, avoiding generic praises and clichГ©s requires thoughtful
consideration of specific instances that highlight the teacher's exceptional qualities.
Furthermore, ensuring that the essay remains focused and does not deviate into unrelated
tangents is crucial. It's easy to be carried away by nostalgia or personal anecdotes, but a well-
crafted essay should maintain a clear connection to the central theme: your favorite teacher.
In conclusion, while the topic may initially appear straightforward, writing an essay about your
favorite teacher entails navigating through a maze of emotions, memories, and the challenge of
presenting a balanced and engaging narrative. It demands careful consideration of language,
structure, and tone to effectively convey the impact of this influential figure on your life.

Sigmund Freud s Method and Theory of Dream Analysis
Essay
I wrote this paper to get a better understanding of Sigmund Freud s method and
theory of dream analysis. The purpose of the paper will be to show the principals of
Freud s dream related theory that focuses on the physiology, interpretation, and
psychology of dreams and to explain concepts such as latent and manifest content of
dreams, the part of unconscious process, and the nature of dreams role in the
determination of dreamcontent. I would like to explore Sigmund Freuds explanations
of psycho analytic and psychological theory and method to reveal whether Freud s
continuous revising to sexually based conclusions are able to support his own
arguments. One of his themes was the amount of activity that goes on in our brains
without us even... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are numerous theories regarding the function of our dreams, they are mainly
based on speculation more than research. This enchanted place of consciousness is
what got me interested about dreams. Dreams are based on the individual in that
we usually dream of ourselves. I feel that greater understanding of our dreams will
have a major influence for individuals to understand themselves better. Why people
dream, what they dream of, and what is the meaning of their dreams, are topics of
interests with many types of researchers, artists, and some clinical practitioners.
Freud believed our dreams gave insight to our deep desires of love, money, and
acceptance or any yearning of the individual. The point of view of which Freud
interprets and examines the manifest of dreams content to obtain their latent
meaning is of a professional psychologist and clinical observer who looked for a way
to explain how our minds work and how the individual psychology functions. He
based his work on clinical experiences and clinical neurosis of the matter of his own
interpretations to be able to confirm his theories as a proven fact. The result Freud
gets from the patients he observes and interpretation of their dreams are stereotyped
to the complete human condition. Our dreams are objects of endless enchantment
and mystery for mankind as far back as the beginning of time. The nocturnal

Social Justice Essay
What is social justice and how does it relate to liberation theology? How do sin,
love, grace, and human freedom affect social justice? What restricts freedom and
social justice? And how does all of this play a role in the Kingdom of God?
Social justice is a concept of a society in which every human being is treated justly,
without discrimination based on financial status, race, gender, ethnicity, etc. Grace is
a gift from God that we don t deserve, which helps us choose the good, therefore it
promotes social justice. On the other hand, sin, which can be regarded as a lack of
love and care for others, distances us from social justice. Therefore, love and grace
are essential aspects of social justice and without them there could be ... Show more

For example, most laws promote an eye for an eye type of legal system. This
encourages people to retaliate or get even with others, which is seen so often in
America s lawsuit happy citizens. This is obviously in contradiction to the ends of
social justice, which promote love and brotherhood.
Social justice is not an us versus them mentality; rather it is a were in it together
mentality where the powerful and powerless work together. Obviously those who are
in need are the poor and oppressed: women, African Americans, Jews, Latin
Americans, etc. However, due to the fact that these people are in these oppressive
situations, they gain insight into the injustices that surround them specifically, and
society in general. Although they are made poor by those in power and the structures,
institutions, and organizations run by those in power, they still possess strength to
resist, capacity to understand their rights, [and the ability] to organize themselves and
transform a subhuman situation (Boff, 1) . The poor and oppressed are held above
the rich and powerful, in other words are given preferential treatment. Due to their
oppression in life,

How Will a Firm s Pricing Strategy Depend on the
Structure...
How will a firm s pricing strategy depend on the structure of the market?
A pricing strategy is important to any firm in realising its corporate objectives,
whether that be its sales revenue, market share or indeed profit, and thus there is
much preoccupation within a business about its pricing strategy. Ultimately, this will
be guided by many factors; not least the market power it has to set the price of its
products and the nature of the demand curve it faces. This essay will attempt to
outline how a firm s pricing strategy is influenced by the characteristics of the market
in which it operates, looking at various market structures, including perfect
competition, monopoly and oligopoly.
One particular market structure worthy of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition to this, the markets themselves to be distinct from each other so as to
prevent consumers from the lower priced market reselling the product in the high
priced market. Typically, rail operators have charged cheaper off peak fares to the
elderly and students, who have lower disposable incomes and are more price
sensitive than other user groups, in order to stimulate demand from sectors that
would not otherwise use it.

Alternatively, maybe a firm operates in a market where it has a large share but
competes against small producers possessing a small market share. In effect, the
dominant firm has to split the market demand with these small firms, each producing
an identical product to the dominant firm and act as perfect competitors, taking the
market price as given by the dominant firm and choosing a level of output

Capitalism In Death Of A Salesman
The American Death: An Analysis of Death of a Salesman
After World War II, The U.S. entered into a time known as the Golden Age of
Capitalism. A major ideology that developed during this time was the American
Dream. According to Merriam Webster, the American Dream is a happy way of
living... that can be achieved by anyone... by working hard and becoming successful.
Arthur Miller s play Death of a Salesman critiques this ideology through the outcome
of Willy s life and in light of Karl Marx s ideas in Alienation.
One way Miller critiques the American Dream is through Marx s idea of
proprietors and propertyless. Marx states in Alienated Labor that the whole
society is divided into two classes of proprietors and propertyless (171).
Throughout the story, the audience learns Willy is part of the propertyless. This
is demonstrated when Willy and Linda have a conversation about the refrigerator.
Linda mentions how they are close to paying it off, but Willy replies that it just
broke again (73). In light of Marx, since Willy is not able to own his refrigerator,
he is part of the propertyless. On the other hand, Howard, Willy s boss, is a
proprietor. The way Howard achieves this job is through inheritance. At one point in
the story, Willy asks Howard if he can ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This dream is dangerous because it causes a loss of one s identity and endless work
towards an unreachable goal. If people continue to believe this dream is possible,
then the proprietor will continue to exploit them. In the end, all the worker has to
show for their work is their death. When they die, this process will just continue with
another worker. The workers may believe that they are assets to the company, but in
reality, they replaceable. While the American Dream may seem like a fantasy, it is
ultimately an endless cycle of the exploitation that can never be

Shonda Rhimes Year Of Yes
When you think Shonda Rhimes the first thing that most likely pops into your
head is Greys Anatomy or How To Get Away With Murder or the fact a single
woman basically owns a whole TV network every Thursday night. Regardless if
you are a huge fan of Ms. Rhymes or you have just heard her name in passing, you
ve probably heard her titled as one of the greatest Television show creatures and or
scriptwriters to date. What you don t usually think about when you hear the name
Shonda Rhimesis someone who turns down events, who has intense anxiety or
someone who has to drink two glasses of red wine before she gives a speech. The
novel, Year of Yes published by Simon and Schuster Paperbacks, published in 2015
and written by Ms. Shonda Rhimes, is a 300 page nonfiction novel that does
exactly that. This novels goal is to shows the raw side of Ms. Rhimes, it shows
that she is or should I say, used to be, a big personality behind paper. This novel all
started after her sister mentions to her that Rhymes never says, yes to anything (p. 1).
After her sister mentions this, Shonda begins to consider it, but with her anxious side
always present, she makes up multiple excuses as to why she says no to just about
everything that comes her way. She tells her sister that she... Show more content on

This novel was easy to read and also exciting to read! I constantly wanted to know
what she was going to say yes to next. After reading this book, I feel like Ms.
Rhimes and I are best friends. Her writing style and language, mainly slang, it
makes it feel like I am talking to a friend who is gossiping to me over brunch. I
read this novel rather quickly, I loved watching her start out terrified to say yes to
anything all the way to finding new things to say yes to. I felt like as I read the
novel, the author gained a new perspective on life and all the exciting moments a
person can have if they open their heart to

Early Childhood Education Reflection Paper
As I reflect on the past eight weeks, my insights on Early Childhood Education have
given me a better understanding of issues and trends in Early Childhood Education.
As I mastered this course, I have also become more knowledgeable and understanding
of the needs of children and families in my community. Another way that I have been
strengthened was through discussions and sharing blogs with my colleagues. On the
other hand, researching professional early childhood educationtopics and viewing
multimedia presentations were beneficial to my professional growth as well. I felt
that the multimedia were definitely the meat of this course. Therefore, I am
knowledgeable with information than before. As an early childhood educator, and
regarding changing demographics and diversity findings, I am significantly
impacted on my professional over my initial reaction. However, I have learned that
diversity is challenging, as the invasion of immigrants and refugees into the U.S.
from different parts of the world is changing the country s demographics. According
to Boutte, G. S. (2008), in a rapidly changing world, some groups have greater
societal benefits than others. Therefore, educators should show love as they face the
challenge of preparing students from diverse populations by considering their
background because of race, ethnicity, gender, class, language, religion, ability or age
(p. 166). For this reason, early childhood educators should welcome culturally diverse
environments

Muslim Women in Interfaith Relatinships
Muslim women in interfaith relationships
By Muneebah Dawson
2nd year UCT Social Science degree Student
Introduction
We are living in a world where religious peace talks are prominent. The walls of
gender inequality are encouraged to be broken down. Tradition and culture is
evolving. However; in the Muslim community I still find that women are struggling
to find gender equality. Women are frowned upon when they enter into interfaith
marriages. Love does not ask what religion you belong to. Following is my project
and its findings on Muslim women in interfaith relationships and how they feel about
the inequality of Muslim marriage rights in Islam.
Rationale for Research and Research Questions

Methodology
I have four participants of which I have interviewed using a questionnaire. I have
recorded and transcribed two of them and two of them I have taken notes. I have
discussed with them the discrimination against them; one married to a non Muslim
man, one engaged to be married to a non Muslim man and one in a relationship with
a non Muslim man. This has therefore presented an interesting lens for
understanding the ways in which these engagements have affected their immediate
family life in their specific social, legal and political context. Furthermore I have
interviewed Dr. Sadiyya Shaikh, my fourth participant who is a Muslim Feminist
and a lecturer at the University of Cape Town who holds a doctorate in Islamic
religious studies. My aim with her was to find out why only Muslim men are allowed
to marry a non Muslim women and not the other way around. I gained her
professional perspective on the interpretations of the Quran and its text on this matter.
The following are the set of questions that I have asked my participants when I
conducted my interviews.
Interview Questions for the three Muslim women in an interfaith relationship
/ marriage
1.The Quran speaks of the acceptance of Muslim men in interfaith marriages to
women of the Book . Muslim women are not mentioned in this context however;
there is also no mention of it being haram (taboo). Are you aware of this and how do
you feel about it?
2.Do you feel that the Shariah

Amber s Secret
Amber s Secret
Bio202
Amber is an 18 year old woman who has found she is feeling sick and unusual. She
comes to find out that she is pregnant and consults her doctor. Being concerned of
her student status and what her parents might think are her biggest fears. The fetus
growing inside her is almost 11 weeks and has her own story from the inside.
Mentioning all of the growth that has occurred and the development milestones she
has reached, the fetus is concerned of her own well being. The doctor offers Amber
the options of abortion and adoption, and then the heart beat will be heard. It is
unclear what Amber s choice is in the end.

menstrual cycle before she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
4. What are the hormonal and physical changes going on in Amber during her
pregnancy? What is keeping her from menstruating as normal?
Physiological changes occurring in Amber s body are happening in her
gastrointestinal, urinary, respiratory and cardiovascular system. She is feeling sick
because of the increased hCG, progesterone and estrogen levels. Her story is only
until her 11th week of her pregnancy, but she may feel many symptoms throughout
the rest of her pregnancy if it is not aborted. Those symptoms could be increased
urination because the kidneys are disposing of fetal metabolic waste as well as her
own. Blood volume also rises to help accommodate the fetus needs (Marieb amp;
Hoehn 2013).
An over production of the hormone progesterone is created which stops the follicle
stimulating hormones (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). Those are the hormones
needed for an egg to be released and travel down into the uterus for a menstruation
cycle. If that does not occur, there is not menstruation (Marieb amp; Hoehn 2013)
5. How does a pregnancy test work?
At home pregnancy tests can be purchased over the counter or a blood test can be
performed at the doctor s office. They both check for the human Chorionic
Gonadotropin, hCG, hormone that is produced during pregnancy. The home
pregnancy test uses urine, and the doctor s office tests blood (Women s Health 2006).
6. How can we account for Amber s symptoms?
It sounds like Amber is having

The Marxist Feminism Theory And The Social System
Health is a social construct system and health inequality is the result from social
dysfunction. Health determinants are the combined factors that influence an
individual or the community s health such as the social environment, economic
environment and the individual characteristics and behaviours (Germov, 2014).
Firstly, the Marxist feminism will be discussed. This theory believes social structure
shapes the group s behaviours and perspectives. People who have a higher
socioeconomic status have better health. Secondly, the Marxist feminism theory is a
structure based theory and several debates arose in regards to the theory. Thirdly,
genderinequality is shown in the statistics and males are more likely to experience
physical health injuries and death compared to females. Finally, the movie, Devils
Dust highlighted the Marxist Feminism theory and it will be discussed.
Marxist Feminism was presented in the movie. Marxist feminism theory allies with
Karl Marx s philosophical and economic theories. It explains gender inequality via
the capitalism and social institutions of private property (StudyMode, 2013).
Capitalism is a social system (World Socialist Movement, 2014). There are two
classes, the capitalist class and working class. The capitalist class is the people
who own a business and produce and distribute goods. The working class is the
people who use their ability to work and receive a wage or salary in return. Social
institutions of private property refer to the

Mexican Immigrants in United States Essay
Mexican Immigrants in United States
It is clear that the US is finding the constant flow of would be Mexican immigrants
an increasing problem, as is shown by the fact that their Border Patrol budget
increased by 180% between 1993 and 1998, to reach a total of $4.2 billion by 1999.
The USA will be employing 11,000 people to guard the border by September 2002,
and 17,000 by 2008. But why does America see Mexican migrants as such a
problem? And why do so many people consider it necessary to emigrate from Mexico
to the US, sometimes employing desperate measures? How has such a situation
arisen? These are questions I hope to address in this project, in which I will use a
variety of sources to try and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The eastern region of the border along the Rio Bravo (later called Rio Grande in the
United States) was more hospitable, and attracted a larger population. The Rio
Grande/Rio Bravo, a symbol of separation in Texas, males up more than half the
length of the border. In the decades following the Mexican American War (1850s),
US farmers and agricultural workers came to dominate US Mexican trade across
this Texas river border. Shortly after their rise, these merchants became quite wealthy
and bought large areas of land in Texas and became more powerful than the Mexican
settlers on both sides of the border. This created an economic conflict that is still
present today.
During the Mexican Revolution, which began in 1910, the border population
increased significantly as many moved across the border from Mexico to the USA
seeking refuge. Migration patterns were established between particular states in
Mexico and particular regions or towns on the

Why Should Child Beauty Pageants Be Banned
It s on you, the whole thing, all the money, all the work. It s on you . This is what
one mother said to her 4 year old daughter before sending her on stage. Imagine if
you had a beautiful little girl and you decided to spray tan her, dress her
provocatively, tweeze her eyebrows, give her fake hair, nails, teeth and pounds of
makeup. Is this really how a little girl should be raised? A childbeauty pageant is a
beauty contestfor children younger than 16. The girls are judged based on
individuality in looks, capability, poise, perfection and confidence, which the judges
call, the complete package . The contestants compete to win a variety of prizes and
trophies: the trophies being taller than the girls themselves. In my opinion, child
beauty pageants should be banned, as they are destructive to childhoods and futures.
Pageants teach young contestants to value physical beauty over inner beauty. They

So much poison goes into these young bodies both orally and topically. In order for
mums to keep their princesses from becoming sleeping beauties a pageant
necessity is sugar, commonly referred to as pageant crack . The extent to which
mums go to to keep their daughter energised is shocking. For example, one 6 year
old contestant has been seen drinking a mixture of mountain dew and red bull while
another was having plain sugar packets dumped down her throat. These poor pre
schoolers are also subjected to many unhealthy chemicals, including hair spray, make
up and fake tan. Two year old Paten has been spray tanned 50 times in her short life.
A childhood of this pattern can lead to many devastating effects down the road,
such as chemical exposure and eating disorders. I need to watch what I eat, but
sometimes I do get hungry , claims an 8 year old contestant. Studies show that girls
as young as seven years old have been diagnosed with anorexia and some pageant
girls reporting high ratings in body

Death Is An Issue That Everyone Contemplates At Some
Point
Death is an issue that everyone contemplates at some point in their lives. For many,
the topic conjures feelings of fear and worry and reminds them of their mortality.
Furthermore, the issue of death brings up a multitude of ethical questions. What is
death? Is it ever permissible to kill one s self or another human being? What
constitutes a good life? And perhaps chief among them: Is deathalways bad? Thinkers
of all stripes have struggled with this question and attempted to provide answers.
Two people who have explored this question are Simon Blackburn and Martin
McDonagh. The former in his book Being Good and the latter in his play The
Pillowman. In his play, McDonagh packs his prose with moral questions and ethical
dilemmas. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A person who dies is denied the possibility of fulfilling their future desires which, for
Blackburn, constitutes a loss. Conversely, those that have never existed do not have
a desire of which they can be deprived. For Blackburn, these points underscore that
non existence after death is bad and is distinct from non existence before birth. That
said, Blackburn also says, But then what about desired death, such as suicide or
euthanasia (Blackburn, 71). In this quote, Blackburn hints at the issue of terminal
illness and concedes there are circumstances where death is not necessarily a bad
option. Blackburn argues that a terminal illness that entails considerable suffering,
eliminates any positive future possibilities, and only delays death is a scenario
where choosing death over life can be justified ethically. He further argues that a
doctor helping a terminally ill patient take their own life has not necessarily
committed a bad deed and is perhaps even showing them mercy because they are
reducing their patients suffering (Blackburn, 72). We should keep the nuances of
Blackburn s argument in mind when doing our analysis.
Now that Blackburn s ethical stance on the badness of death has been established,
we can begin our analysis of McDonagh s The Pillowman. In his play, Mcdonagh s
main character, Katurian, tells the story of the Pillowman. He is a man whose job it
is to seek out adults ready to commit

Taking a Look at Capital Punishment
William Furman murdered William Micke on August 11, 1967 in Savannah,
Georgia. Furman was unemployed, and only had a sixth grade education. William
Furman became depressed, and started to commit theft for food and money. Furman
was caught stealing several times, but was only given a light sentence. At 2 a.m. on
August 11, William Furman broke into the house of William Micke, while Micke
and his five children were sleeping. William Micke heard a noise and went
downstairs to see where the noise was coming from. He spotted Furman, and Furman
ran for the back door. William Furman tripped over an exposed wire and the gun in
Furman s hand went off. The bullet hit William Ficke, killing him instantly. The
Furman v. Georgiacase started in the district court and then moved up to the appellate
court. Furman was sentenced to death by the appellate court after a one day trial. He
made the argument that his eighth and fourteenth amendment rights were being
violated. The case moved up to the Supreme Court of the United States. In the trial,
Furman had four main arguments: most western nations had abolished capital
punishmentbecause it was an unsuccessful way to deter crime; juries only handed out
about 100 death penalties each year, and only about 50 prisoners were sentenced to
death so capital punishment was not being issued objectively; national prison records
stated that executions almost always involved black prisoners; and the only reason
why capital punishment had

Sam Walton s Strategy
Sam Walton s strategy was built on an unbreakable foundation: The Lowest Prices
Anytime, Anywhere. On July 2, 1962, Sam Walton opened the first Walmart store
in Rogers, Arkansas which the Walton family owned 24 stores, ringing up $12.7
million in sales. In 1969, the company officially incorporated as Wal Mart Stores,
Inc. (Vance Scott (1994)) Then in the 1970s, a decade of incredible growth, Sam
Walton began to take Walmart national, proving his vision s widespread appeal and
became a publicly traded company. Walmart s first stock was sold at $16.50 per
share and eventually listed on the New York Stock Exchange a couple years later.
The first distribution center and Home Office opened in Bentonville, Arkansas. By
1976, there were 51 stores and Walmart recorded sales of $78 million. Inspired by
visiting a Korean manufacturing facility, where Sam Walton soon introduced the
Walmart cheer. The Walmart Foundation was established in 1979. (Vance Scott
(1994)) In the 1980s, the first Sam s Club opened, supplying and serving small
businesses and individuals, and the first Walmart Supercenter opened, combining the
supermarket with the general merchandises. By 1990, Walmart was the nation s
number one retailer. As the Walmart Supercenter redefined convenience and do all
your shopping in one stop, at one place. Every Day Low Prices went international.
Then Walmart entered the new millennium dedicated to offering customers a

The Ottoman Empire And Islamic Terrorism
The Ottoman Empire and Islamic Terrorism
Florida International University
By
Melinda Persaud
November 7, 2014
Introduction What is known today as modern day Turkey, was once one of the most
powerful empires in the world. They referred to this imperial state as the Ottoman
Empire. The Purpose of the empire was to gain land , and spread their Islamic
teachings. With this they had created a thirteenth century empire led by Osman, the
founder of the Ottoman Empire. Osman surrounded himself with strong solders who
specialized in ambushes, and hit and run tactics, they referred to these highly trained
soldiers as Janissaries . The empire they built was the largest and most dominant of
the Muslim empires. The decline of the Ottoman Empire led to terrorist movements,
specifically Islamic terrorism. Wanting to spread their beliefs through violence,
Islamic terrorist groups began to try to overpower certain nations. It not only
existed in the later history but still seems to play a big role even today. This has
spread throughout the world from the horrific tragedy of the World Trade Center
all the way to the multiple bombings in the London Underground. One main
terrorist group that has our focus today would be ISIS whose purpose is to create
an Islamic state. This is only one example of a current Islamic terrorist group.
Power, religion, and beliefs are what seem to make up the goal of what these Islamic
terrorist groups are trying to allow.

Word spreads that Bruce Lee is teaching the quot;sacred quot; Martial Arts to
foreigners. Bruce is quot;warned quot; by various other instructors of his

forbidden to teach the quot;sacred quot; Martial Arts to anyone who wasn t of Asian

Asians, or stop teaching altogether. Bruce refused their instructions, vowing to teach
whoever wanted to learn. Needless to say, the instructors were not pleased, and
challenged Bruce to fight Wong Jack Man, another Martial Arts master in the area.
The rules were set, if Bruce lost, he was to stop teaching. If he won, he would be
able to teach who he pleased. There has been alot of speculation concerning the true
outcome of this battle, even some 25 years later. Publicly, all that is known, is that
Bruce won, barely. After this fight, Bruce decides to re evaluate his fighting
technique, because the fight quot;should have been over in seconds quot;. This

Essay on Mountaintop Mining and Environmental and
Energy...
Mountaintop mining has been practiced in the United States since the 1960s,
primarily in the Appalachian Mountains. The process involves removing all tress
from the site, then the topsoil, and then using explosives to remove the remaining
soil and rock to reveal coal. The coal is removed and processed, and then the
mountaintop is reclaimed with soil or an appropriate substitute, and sometimes
replanted.6 While mountaintop mining in the Appalachians is only a small
percentage of coalproduced by the United States, the issues surrounding it are
complex and wide ranging. Some of the many issues raised with mountaintop mining
are: high unemployment (due to the lessened man power needed to operate the
mining machinery), deforestation,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Recently, they have rejected permits that would contaminate or destroy water sources,

regulation are the coal companies mining in the Appalachians. Some of the biggest
players in the industry are Alpha Natural Resources (formerly known as Massey

environmental standards than others. In West Virginia the non profit Coal River

Environmental Protection, who issues many of the permits that allow for
mountaintop mining and waste removal practices. The people who live in the

Tim Tebow s Strength is Jesus Christ
ВЁWhen people see the work ethic, determination and the passion that I have, they re
going to ask, What drives you? What is that? Well, the answer is my relationship
with Jesus Christ. that s just what has always fueled me. (Rogeberg). As a
tremendously skilled and dedicated athlete, Tim Tebowuses his strengths to show
Christ to people in a unique way. Tim Tebow demonstrates that Christlikeness and
courage are essential to being a strong leader. On a crisp summer day, August the
fourteenth, nineteen eighty seven, a legend in football and leader in Christ was
born, named Timothy Richard Tebow. He was born into a small town in the
Philippines called Makati City. Tim Tebow s parents were originally from America
but they moved to the Philippines to do baptist missionary work (Whitaker, 5). In
October of 1990 Tim Tebow s family of four other older siblings moved to
Jacksonville, Florida where Tim was raised. The Tebow s next door neighbor,
Uncle Dick, was like a true uncle to Tim. Most of his childhood memories were
spent in Uncle Dick s household (Whitaker, 7). You rarely see homeschoolers turn
into NFL stars, but Tim Tebow was one. His mother homeschooled him from
kindergarten until senior year of high school. His mother and father were his
biggest influence to getting to know Christ ( Tim Tebow Biography ). Tim Tebow
says when he was seven years old he had a strange fear of getting into a wreck and
not spending eternity with God. With his parents help he accepted Christ

The Nazi Party s Failure Of Convincing The German...
The Nazi Party s Failure in Convincing the German Population of Their Ideology
Jacob Nelson
AP World History
November 18, 2016
As the Nazi political party, also known as the National Socialist German Workers
Party, grew, they needed a way to keep control over and continue to influence
German citizens of their ideology. The Nazi party s propaganda is considered to be
ingenious because of it s ability to quietly influence the German citizens to the party
s hateful message. The Nazi party was also known to be effective in using the new
form of media, film, to influence the younger generation. These claims are untrue
because the Nazis were not always successful in influencing German citizens or in
the citizens had little faith for propaganda to provide answers. Other citizens flat out
did not believe the Nazi idea that the Jewish people were a subordinate race. Despite
the Nazi s near total control of the German media through film, art, posters, and the
Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, the Nazi party still failed to
convince the whole German population of their ideology.
The Nazi party s main vehicle to control German media was the Reich Ministry of
Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. The Nazi party believed that successful
propaganda focused on little brute force, and more on fear mongering. One man who
held this ideology high was Joseph Goebbels. He used the idea of fear mongering
when ordering the Sturmabteilung, also know as the

My Favorite Dish
My favorite dish is prepared by my maternal grandma; they are referred to as lollipops
and they are just as delicious. My grandma s family immigrated from Greece and
her grandmother came from a village outside of Sparta, currently named Selasia.
Grandma loves to cook the lamb chops because she knows my sisters and I love to
devour them. She says that It gives her a sense of love that can only be seen on your
(grandchildren s) faces. The recipe is a familyfavorite that is passed down from
mother to mother, generation to generation, going back at least five generations.
Cookingin Mediterranean culture is known as a form of cooking with love as food
is used as a way of evoking personal a collective memory. Grandma says she learned
from her mother, as her mother did, and each added variation to perfect their
recipe, with the key ingredient being a dash of love. Coming from a family who is
a mixture of many cultures is interesting as this allows me to have many customs
unique to just our household. My mother s side stems from Greece and she comes
from a Greek inspired household. Lamb is a very common dish in many Eastern
European cultures, yet in Greece it is taken to a new level, having most of their
more exquisite dishes involve some form of Lamb meat. My personal favorite is
the Lamb Chops, or lollipops, that my grandma makes using a recipe she can only
remember in her head. While it is written down, she loosely follows her memory and
tries new spices to make it

Overcoming Obstacles In Who We Are By Janice Blackmore
There are always going to be obstacles in between someone and what they want, but
if that person deals with these challenges depends on how much they want it. The
characters in the following stories and videos did not let other people get in the
way of what they want and instead proceeded their dreams. Anyone can overcome
a roadblock in the form of what they want. Who We Are... by Janice Blackmore is a
youtube video about kids who help their parents with their job to provide for their
family and overcome obstacles that they face at school or outside of school. Kids
at their school thought they didn t know how to speak English and thought they
were rude. Workers at a store thought they were going to steal something, so they
kept a close eye on them. The man at the store assumed we were going to steal, said
one of the kids. The quote explains how other people treat them like the other kids. I

Dog In The Nighttime Autism
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time is a book written by Mark
Haddon, in a first person s perspective from a fifteen year old boy named
Christopher. Christopher has autism and he lives with his dad, and no longer his
mom because his dad told him that his mom had passed away from a heart attack.
One night on one of Christopher s midnight strolls, he passes by his neighbor Mrs.
Shears s house and sees her dog lying dead in the garden with a pitch fork sticking
out of him. Christopher then went on an investigation to figure out who killed the
dog Wellington. Throughout the story the reader learns about Christopher and things
that he likes and doesn t like. Every day on the way to school Christopher would

While first starting the book, it was difficult to read because it is written the
perspective of how an autistic child/teen would think, or talk. Once a reader gets
passed the initial difference in writing technique, you learn that kids and people
with the autism disorder don t have control to why they do or don t like things, or
have control of some of their actions. After reading this and comparing it to
personal experience of a family member that worked at a local high school with an
autistic student and the similarities and symptoms, it makes it clear that there are
different parts of the spectrum but if someone treats them normal and This book
ended with a curiosity of what was to happen next in Christopher s life. Would his
parents eventually get back together and how would his future lay out. He believes
in himself now that he has accomplished all of these different things that he can do
anything. For a person, with a disorder or not but, especially with any disorder to
have that confidence that they can do anything, that is something every parent could
ask for. This book is definitely recommend especially for someone that is curious
about learning more about a young boy with this disorder, and up for a good

The Dubliners By James Joyce
James Joyce s 1914 collection of 15 short stories The Dubliners has the continuous
theme of money which further dwells into the idea of class systems, how colonies
became a dichotomy, and how in the end, the colonists were nearly the same. Since
Joyce writes these stories in the early 20th Century, there has been a large history
behind colonization and the life that comes with it. In using everyday examples or
little segments of the average day, Joyce expresses the idea and components of the
class system in Dublin which shows the distinction and yet the similarities
between the impoverished and the well to do. James Augustine Aloysius Joyce
was born into a middle class family in 41 Brighton Square, Rathgar, Dublin, which
is a fairly nice area of Dublin. The family fell apart and they had to move to
northern Dublin, a very undesirable and unpleasant area to live in. In spite of
having a out of order household with an alcoholic father and unreliable income and
finances, Joyce went to a prestigious Jesuit high school and excelled there. Joyce
then went on to college and transcended. With all these past experiences, Joyce had
learned the ways of living without the concern of money and had also learned the
ways of living with the concern of money and making ends meet. This situation was
not rare, for in fact, it happened to many denizens of Dublin. With this outlook and
standpoint on life, Joyce was compelled to write the tales of his miserable
contemporaries. He compiled

comparing emerson and dickinson Essay
Ralph Waldo Emerson and Emily Dickinson were two of America s most intriguing
poets. They were both drawn to the transcendentalist movement which taught unison
of creation, the righteousness of humanity, and the preeminence of insight over logic
and reason (Woodberry 113). This movement also taught them to reject religious
authority(Sherwood 66). By this declination of authority, they were able to express
their individuality. It is through their acceptance of this individuality that will
illustrate their ambiguities in their faith in God.
Emily Dickinson was an intricate and contradictory figure who moved from a
reverent faith in God to a deep suspicion of him in ... Show more content on

In the first stanza she simply states that just because one can t see or have never
seen something doesn t mean that it can t or doesn t exist. That being said,
Dickinson then says that she has not ever spoken with God or visited heaven in
the third pair of lines (Dickinson 1273). The final set of lines says that she is
certain of the spot (Dickinson 1273). This second stanza clearly confirms that she is
confident of her place in heaven. Dickinson believes in all of these things even
though she hasn t observed any of them. (Benfey 25) This particular poem shows of
her assurance of God and heaven.
On the contrary, the poem I know That He Exists distinctly shows her uncertainty
between her belief and disbelief in God. (Dickinson 1262) The first stanza begins
with a relatively strong declaration of her faith. She knows that there is a God and
that in some way, for whatever reasons, he has hid himself from our gross eye
(Dickinson 1262). In the second stanza, she insinuates that he plays game with us
just to gain our admiration for him. She starts to be troubled by this hide and seek
game in the third stanza. (Ferlazzo 32) She implies, between the middle of the third
stanza and all of the fourth that if there is no sort of deliverance after death, God
would have just played a really wicked joke on all of us.
Emerson, on the other hand, was a minister and pastor

China s Political And Social Structures
China is the fastest emerging political power in the world, a power that in a short
amount of time turned from a third rate industrial nation with lots of raw potential, to
the second largest economy and one of the largest militaries in the world. But is
China s political and social structures unique? Certainly, the Chinese system
possesses certain aspects similar to what already exists in other modern nation states
and their governments, however, it is how these pieces coelute together into a
coherent political and economic machine that makes the model unique. Politically,
the Chinese Communist Party is quite unique. Most authoritarian political parties
are either dominated by party elites who only pass on power to loyalists, or merely
a military regime. The CCP, however, is significantly technocratic, and much more
inclusive. Many members of the CCP are not just military leaders or individuals
with law degrees, they also include engineers and more recently business leaders.
Furthermore, although there is a level of patronage in Chinese politics and society
known as Guanxi, in fact as Mingxing Liu states in his paper about advancement in
the CCP Central Committee the literature suggests that leaders were able to stay in
power because they engaged in factional politics instead of selecting the most capable
officials (Victor Shih 2012) However, that was during the pre Xi Jinping eras and
quantifiable efforts have been made to combat corruption, especially in local

So many mistakes were made within the case, John Walsh said in 1997, upon the
release of his book Tears of Rage, (about his son) Which harshly criticized the
Hollywood Police Department s work on the case. It was shocking, inexcusable and
heartbreaking.
Adam s death, and his father s subsequent activism on his behalf, helped put faces on
milk cartons, shopping bags and mailbox fliers, started fingerprinting programs and
increased security at schools and stores. It spurred the creation of missing persons
units at every large police department.
It also prompted national legislation to create a national center, database and toll free
line devoted to missing children, and led to the start of America s Most Wanted,
which brought those cases into millions of homes.

Medieval Castle Research Paper
Castles have been around for a very long time. A medieval castle was the fortified
home of an important person, such as a lord or king. The medieval period, also
called the Middle Ages, lasted from the 5th century C.E. to the end of the 15th
century. During this time, many castles were built in Europe and the Middle East.
They ranged from simple wooden enclosures to vast stone palaces. The first castleto
be built was in 1000 A.D. Most castles are located in England, France, Spain, Italy,
Germany, and Whales. They were usually dark, clammy, and cold. Castles were
often built on hills or on plains for them to be able to see their enemies. They were
used for many different reasons. Castles were used in a defensive manner, in an
offensive manner, and they were used for people to live in. They would serve
purposes that just a regular place couldn t serve. They were... Show more content on

There were plenty defense systems that a castle would have. The defense systems
helped protect the people that would live in the castle. People s lives often
depended on how well built a castle was some with walls being as thick as twelve
inches. They also had moats, which is a water filled trench that would encircle the
castle. This made it hard for enemies to get close to the castle. Not all castle had
moats, because some were built high up on bedrock and didn t need them. Castles
also had concrete walls, drawbridges, portcullises, and battlements. Castles were
built with a stronghold in the center, which was the last line of defense. Around the
stronghold they would build walls and around those walls they would build more
walls. This would allow everyone to retreat to the middle if the outer wall ever got
breached. Invaders would have to constantly be breaking all the walls to get to the
middle. The draw bridge was a large bridge that would cross over the moat. In times
of peace, it could be let down and used as

In general, over the course of the lesson during the learning segment, students were

questions constantly to keep them engaged intellectually in understanding the

In the second clip of my video students were asked to divide with place value

guiding questions. My second video clip at (5:19) starts off with me noticing that
my EL student Diego had the incorrect number of place value blocks per square

That s when he said he wasn t done, but I know that wasn t the case, if you take a
close look in the video he was seating down and not working with his place value
blocks. I asked him what are you going to do with this tens rod, and he responded
with break it apart and get ten unit cubes. I asked him enough questions to direct him
towards the right direction, he had the concept of division correct because he was
able to divide correctly the place value blocks he had on each stack, but he didn t
realize he was missing an extra ten unit cubes. By asking students guiding questions
such as what did you do to get this answer, what steps did you take, what did you do
with your materials I am engaging students intellectually in understanding
mathematical concepts. As I walked around I also wanted students to engage in
mathematical discourse by asking them what do we call what is left over? and each
of their responses were remainder proving me that students were understanding what

Operation Cyclone Essay
This paper discusses the United States of America Central Intelligence Agency s
(CIA) counter to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) 1979 invasion of
Afghanistan. Operation Cyclone was a multinational plan to defeat the Soviet
aggression in Afghanistan and halt the advancement of communism. Through the
covert assistance of Operation Cyclone, the Mujahideen fighters managed over the
ten year war to defeat the massive Soviet Army and re establish their sovereignty.
The lessons learned by the Mujahideen guerillas would later be taken to task
following the al Qaeda attack on America on 11 September 2001. The subsequent
decade plus war would eerily resemble the Russia Afghanistan conflict but with
different results. This research... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Mujahideen warlords proved to admirable warriors but ineffective governmental
leaders and massive infighting ensued. A group of Pashtun fundamentalists under the
title of the Taliban saw an opportunity to unite Afghanistan and in 1994 seized
Kandahar as a foothold into the country. The civil war culminated in 1998 with the
fall of the United Front in the battle of Mazar i Sharif. The Taliban was now the
primary ruling party in Afghanistan, supported by the known terrorist group al
Qaeda. This relationship would prove deadly for 3,000 Americans on 11 September
2001, when al Qaeda conducted terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania, and
Virginia. Unfortunately, the CIA did not have an effective plan on how to retrieve the
unused Stingers from the Mujahideen. Bruce s (2001) report found the following:
When the Russian forces withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, the CIA offered a
$35,000 bounty for every unused Stinger returned. But by that time, the weapons
were selling for up to twice that amount on the international black market and few
found their way back to the U.S. (p.1)
These black market stingers have reportedly been used in conflicts in Chechnya,
Lebanon, and as close to the U.S. as Columbia. Fortunately, there is no historical
evidence that any of these missiles have ever been used against U.S. forces;
however, the loss of accountability must be looked on as a failure for the

Analyzing Wallace s Theory Of Natural Selection
Wallace and his line
Charles Darwin has credit with the theory of natural selection in the history books,
however there was another person Alfred Russell Wallace who came to the same
conclusion. He was of plebian descent and had no reservations about going against
the doctrines of the Church of England. He, like Darwin, had similar questions about
species variation, diversity, and fitness; he decided to seek out the answers in his
travels. Wallace s theory of evolution came from his experiences and observations in
the unexplored islands of the Malay Archipelago specifically Borneo, Bali, Lombok,
and New Guinea and Australia. Although Wallace s journey began in Singapore,
Borneo became the stepladder to defining his first law. He combines geology and
natural history to hypothesize that species connect in space and time to a closely
allied predecessor. Further explaining that these connections are dendritic with extant
species outermost and with extinct closely allied species innermost. Whenever
branching occurs, new species form from the common branch or closely allied
species. He simply argues that if the earth chang es, why species wouldn t do the
same. Wallace replies that islands, including Darwin s account of the ... Show more

where the processes of biogeography were active. Bali s fauna were of similar
variety to the previous islands, and this wasn t surprising. What startled Wallace
was Lombok s wildlife! Lombok is located about 32 kilometers east of Bali, has
identical geologic and environmental conditions, however the species are completely
different. He considers why birds can t just fly across the sea. Traveling further east,
his findings were all species similar to Lombok and not Bali. He states that there is a

Secondary data we found is from R.W. Butler (1980). He made a tourism life cycle for
marine tourism. Possible stages in the development of marine tourism attractions
(adapted from Butler, 1980)
When analyzing this first graph, we see that in the beginning it s the discovery
process and that the number tourists is quite low. People might not know or be too
familiar with the attraction, and therefore don t visit it a lot. For this same reason
the local people may be very cynical, they might not believe in the attraction and
think that it will not do the local economy any good. As time goes by the attraction
starts doing better and others see that it does benefit our local economy and their
own pocket. They might even start to give some competition and try to offer their
own attractions. As time goes by, people start becoming more familiar with the
product and more people will start coming, they might tell others about it and the
others will come. More people will come and a rapid growth will develop. Will this
growth go on forever? In later stages stability will occur.
This is where we believe something needs to be done. There are three things that
can happen once you re stable: stability can remain, you can decline, or you can
grow. Now, preferably everyone would like to keep growing and making more

money. What is the reason that you are stable now? Are people

Evaluate the Importance of Zoos and Captive Breeding...
Evaluate the importance of zoos and captive breeding programmes in the preservation
of biodiversity for future generations.
Nowadays one of the most important issues is preservation of biodiversity. Although
most of the damages to our environment were made in the past, since there were less
education and consciousness between people, there are still many factors threatening
the world heritage. So, it must be the duty, but at this stage even a challenge, of the
community and of each individual, to preserve the world s biodiversity without
drastically reducing the use of resources, which humans need in order to survive.

For example, the San Diego Zoo between 2008 and 2009 profited 3.5 mil. $, money
which will be spent to pay the the skilled personnel, to feed animals and to do
maintenance of animal s shelter. So, zoos are even creating many jobs possibilities in
the city where is built.
However, these sctructures have always been criticated for many reasons by the
animalist; first of all, if we take again into consideration the economical aspect, it is
a big disadvantage, as it is extremely expensive to take care of an animal, esapecially
mammals, in all theirt needs; for example, the IDA (In defense of animals) stated that
it is at least 50 times more expensive to maintain elephants in zoos than to protect
equivalent numbers of elephants in the wild.
Moreover, humans, as living beings, don t have the right to capture and confine other
animals, their similars, even in they are endangered, because the individuals that will
remain in nature will be less genetically diverse and will have more difficulties to
breed.
Although there are regulations to prevent the maltreatment of animals in zoos, there
are still many animals, especially in the LEDC, which become extremely stressed by
the conditions which are subject to and therefore are thought to be aggressive; so,
some zoos actually give anti depressants or

common crimes today. The internet is a technology created to make people s lives
better, allowing the public to express themselves, share their thoughts, and connect
with old friends without effort. However society, as with all technology, has found
negative ways to misuse the internet. In Kiki Kannibal: The Girl Who Played With

Replacing or suspending the new innovations that scientists are making or have
made in the past is inconceivable, however, society can create an Online Crime
Prevention Organization (OCPO) to monitor the internet. In Kiki Kannibal, one of
her major threats was her cyber bullies; she was constantly tormented and
persecuted by strangers online. Kiki was also unable to defend herself or validate
her offenders; she had no help from law enforcement, adults around her, and there
was nothing or no one she could go to with the abuse which made her bullies
invincible while Kiki and her family were left helpless. Erdely mentions in her
essay that Kiki fought back by embracing her outsider status, chopping her long hair
and dyeing it pink. She remade herself into a scene queen, (Erdely). Singer mentions
in his essay that Technological breakthroughs have made it simple to collect, store,
and disseminate data on individuals, corporations, and even the government (Singer
462). As people are becoming more knowledgeable every day, scientists are creating
new innovations that are also helping criminals now, they are more discreet and have
found new ways to practice criminal activities through the internet. An Online Crime
prevention Organization s main goal is to stop or prevent online crime with any
action that must be taken indefinitely; OCPO would be able to access and collect
information from anyone who is seen as a possible threat by verifying the online user
through a thumbprint or eye scan before the person goes online. With an online
system created by the OCPO, anyone who believes that a person is practicing
criminal activities such as cyber bullying, can anonymously flag a person with proof
of the action, sending the information to the OCPO who will then begin to
investigate the person s online history. With restrictions, the

The Role Of Current Account Deficits On Its Sustainability
The world economy has witnessed some of the biggest crises throughout the course of
its history, of which failure to predict in the earlier days and the severe consequences
due to that have urged many economists in number of think tanks, financial
institutions, and governments to develop effective early warning models focusing on
numerous predictors (Edwards, 2001) including current accountdeficits. Noticeably,
the role of the deficits behind major financial collapses has been in the centre of great
controversy. On one hand, some scholars have argued that current account deficits
should be seen as a threat towards the stability of the world economy and thus should
be properly dealt with while on the other hand, the view that significant... Show more

From this point of view, a deficit is thusly the point where the value of imports
exceeds that of exports, in other words, the country is importing more than exporting.
Another definition of the current account balance indicates that it is the difference
between the national (both public and private) savings and investment (Ghosh and
Ramakrishnan, 2006). Hence, it can be inferred that a deficit takes place when there
is a higher level of investment compared to the level of savings in the state. In
particular, this type of behaviour is apparent in countries which enjoy increasing GDP
growth rate, leading to the boom in consumption power.
The third viewpoint concerns with intertemporal trade, or to put it simply, the
exchange of goods today for goods tomorrow (Corden, 2007). In this case, a country
would be buying goods today (running a deficit) and selling goods in the future
(running a surplus) through financial claims such as bonds, equities and so on.
Current account deficit Is it persistent?
There have been implicit as well as explicit arguments about the persistence of the
current account deficits, some of which have agreed that it is just a temporary
phenomenon and cannot be sustained whilst others evidently illustrated that it could
be sustainably maintained at a level which is consistent with that of solvency (Milesi
Ferretti and Razin, 1996 cited in Edwards, 2001).
For the latter, US is exemplary model of how

The Challenges Of Enlightenment In The Epic Of Beowulf
During the Anglo Saxon era, Beowulf, were recited by scops within Mead Halls
across the lands to warriors during times of war. The poem of Beowulf tells various
quest of an epic hero named Beowulf enlightenment by adventures beyond a man s
destiny. A warrior from Geats comes to the rescue of Hrothgar, the king of the Danes
whose land is being attacked by a monster, Grendel. Beowulfsucceeds and defeats
Grendel. To show his prowess, he even kills Grendel. The consequences of his
actions angered the mother of Grendel, releasing her wrath of terror upon him and
the Danes. Beowulf defeat Grendel s mother, giving the Danes a sense of peace and
security for numerous years to come; as they respected Beowulf with the utmost
gratitude allowing him to rule their nation. Beowulf showcases the actions of an epic
hero; his unmatched power and his continuous journey for fame and glory
demonstrates his immortal reputation like no other ordinary man. Beowulf has
battle a variety enormous demons throughout his lifetime; in the new light of terror
of an Almighty beast, descendent of Cain screams of the Almighty s enemy sang in
the darkness, the horrible shrieks of pain and defeat, the tears of torn out of Grendel
s taut throat (308 311). Beowulf power was unmatched to any beast of any sorts.
Beowulf was the protector of men of the lands, holding onto the life of an monster.
Beowulf s weaponry was ultimately useless he d used his hands, the strength in his
fingers. So fame comes to the

The Book Of Genesis Is Submerged With Revelation
Introduction
The Book of Genesis is submerged with revelation(s) which shows similarities
between the first Adam(s) and the last Adam(s). Revelation is the knowledge which
the owner of the land gives unto his subjects to execute his purpose in the land, in
his place, see John 16:7 16; As the first Adam is the son of God, see Luke 3:38. The
last Adam is God the Son, see Hebrews 1:8. Adam was given the knowledge to
execute the Father s purpose in the garden, this is a type of revelation, see Genesis
2:15 19. Adam is the prince of this word, he owns the land by inheritance, and
obeys the will of the Father, by operating in the spirit of revelation, see Genesis
2:17. When is, the inheritance given to Adam, Genesis 1:26; says, let them have
dominion over ALL the earth. The only thing that was greater than Adam was God
s word. God himself has now made himself subject to Adam decisions. In Genesis
2:17, Death here refers to dominion over principalities and powers, see Ephesians
1:19 23. When Adam disobeyed, SIN entered the world, and DEATH gained
dominion over the laws of Adam. Since God was in Adam, DEATH separated
Adam from the Father because of the new law in his spirit, see Genesis 3:7 22.
Adam was now born again, but to death. Thus, death entered the world and became
the new schoolmaster, see Romans 5:12. Subsequently, God removes himself from
the body of man, began his redemptive work, by reducing mans life to 120 years, see
Genesis 6:3; and permitting the

The Negative Impact Of Technology In The United States
With one click of a button, technology has allowed the world to communicate with
people several thousand miles away in just a few seconds. Advancements in
technology have a positive impact on the way people live around the world; the
innovations and integrations of technology has allowed almost anyone to do almost
anything. The world has become extremely dependent on technology, which creates a
high demand for advancements that positively change the way of living, especially
the way of communication, for everyone. Globalization and connectivity through
technology has allowed for friends and family to visually communicate with each
other through video calling programs, the conducting of businesses internationally,
and for medical assistance around the world.
The internet creates an alternative way for family and friends to visually
communicate abroad. Video chat programs such as Skype and FaceTime are used
by millions of people to chat with friends and family. If a parent is on a business trip
or even away in the military, Skype or FaceTime gives families the opportunities ...

Companies are able have global video conferences and organize deals and sales
half way around the world via videoconferencing. Not only does technology
improve the ways of connectivity, but it has also made information easily accessible
and has allowed files to be shared through e mail and edited on a separate device.
Although the concept of outsourcing is highly controversial in the United States, in
the long run, technology has helped word wide businesses save a great amount of
money by outsourcing jobs internationally. Many businesses outsource jobs related to
customer service and have employees from various countries speak on the phone to
assist their customers, who are many times, more than a few thousand miles away.
From a professional point of view, the internet and technology have paved a way for
success in the business

The turning point arrived soon. In January of 1994 Cisco systems failed. Thus the
inability of the system to perform forced towards the utilization of unauthorized
methods for accessing the core application database which lead to the corruption of
Cisco s database. Consequently the company shut down virtually for two days.
Seeking for a new start
After the shutdown managers realized that the autonomous approach was not
sufficient. There was the need for a more integrated action, indeed separated decisions
among the departments would have taken too long. As a result the company gathered
an Implementation Team to investigate on the replacement of the application.
Thanks to the previous experience of the SVP of manufacturing Carl Redfield it was
clear that the implementation of IT projects can take a long time to be effective. In
order to make the implementation as quick as possible Redfield suggested to
implement the project all at once and to do not personalize the new system. Projects
that are divided into phases and customized tend to take longer time to be efficient,
and many times they tend to become only an adaptation of the previous method. He
suggested also to make the implementation a priority for every department: the
involvement of the entire company is important for the effectiveness of the project.
Other than selecting within the company the best components for the Implementation
Team, it was important also finding
