Nike is a multinational corporation founded by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman in
1964. Nike produces, markets and sells athletic footwear, apparel and other

not seen as a good corporate citizen. Nike does not have enough campaigns that
they do globally, especially in Asia after allegedly being accused of Violating

hydrated salt. Hydrated salt contains water molecules chemically bound to it while
anhydrous salt is a substance that fire can readily remove the water molecules. Using
the gravimetric analysis method, the sample salt was measured, heated, and was
measured again after cooled down to room temperature; this procedure allowed the
weight of water lost in the salt to be obtained. After two trials, the water in the salt
was determined to have an average percent water of 35.04%. The null hypothesis, the
heat will not affect the amount of water lost, was rejected ,however, the alternative
hypothesis, the heat will allow for there to be water lost, was not supported.

number of collisions will be increased. If the numbers of collisions are increased then
the reaction time will also be increased.

Creativity is something that exists and occurs every day but the cause or explanation
of this phenomenon is still in question. Many psychological theories place the origin
of creativity stemming from the individual or through the creative ideas they produce.
Other theories such as those proposed by psychologist Mihalyi Csikszentmihalyi
suggest that creativitybegins with the interaction of three shaping factors the: person,
field and domain.
This essay will first discuss how the individual has been seen as the centre of the

Stein s life and the impact on her art The author of this poem, Gertrude Stein, was
born in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and she is the youngest of five children. This

First and foremost a psychological definition of empathy is required. Empathy as
defined by Goubert, a sense of knowing the experience of another person with
cognitive, affective and behavioural components. The simplified version is knowing
the personal experiences of another. Now that empathy has been defined, what are all

1.INTRODUCTION:
The concept of Atom was proposed by John Dalton in 1808 to explain the laws of
chemical combination. He considered that matter is made up of indivisible atoms.all
atoms of an element are identical.Atoms are neither created nor destroyed. Atoms of
different elements have different masses and chemical properties. atoms of different
elements combine in simple whole numbers to form compounds. This concept was
accepted till various eminent physicists like J.J. Thomson. Goldstein, Rutherford,
Niels Bohr and others have established the modern concept of an atom. As technology
advances , scientists are able to gather experimental evidence related to the
properties of the atom. As a result , various models of atomic structure have been
suggested over the years. In this chapter we shall discuss atomic structure based on

Soon after J.J. Thomson atomic model , Rutherford did a series of experiments with
tiny radioactive particles,known as alpha particles.he fired a gold foil with alpha

The Different Methods Of Communication
In general, there are two different methods of communication. First, verbal messages
occur face to face, by telephone, in writing and via computer assistance (Payne). The
second method is nonverbal messages which occur through the use of facial
expressions, tone of voice, physical gestures and distance/touching and the use of
silence. Nonverbal communicationis arguably the most complex method of
communication. For example, we often gesture with our hand and fingers the A OK

other cultures. In Japan the gesture means money, in Russia it is the equivalent of
zero and Brazil is considered an insult. Therefore, a thorough understanding these

speaking, countries fall into the category of either high or low context cultures. A
high context culture is one which values personal knowledge, experience or depth of

communications, low context cultures rely on the spoken word and high context

Throughout the course of history, there has been many struggles in the rights
women have and what they can take part in. During the enlightenment age, women
were only used to be barefoot in the kitchen, making food and taking care of the
home. The Enlightenment was a good opportunity for women to change the status
quo. Sor Juana Dela Cruz, a brilliant scholar from that time period, was a self taught
women who used the enlightenment to her advantage. She had two choices, either
be a wife at home, taking care of the house or be a nun. If she was to choose nun,
