Christopher Columbus discovered the island Cuba in 1492. The small island is
located at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean (Knight, 2017). It is 87 miles from
the Bahamas, 130 miles from Cancun, and 91 miles from Jamaica (Cuba Explore,
1997). Cuba is mainly surrounded by water, therefore it has a tropical trade wind
