2. INTRODUCTION Estimation of the age of an individual is usually done by the following methods…… 1.Physical development 2.Dentition 3.Epiphysial union and ossification of bones 4.Age related changes Among these we shall be doing the estimation of age from dentition.

3. IMPORTANCE To find whether the present age of the student is correlating with their birth certificate given in the school. For booking the kidnapping case : Sec 369 IPC –children under 10yrs Sec 361 IPC –under 16 to 18yrs Sec 366A IPC –under 18yrs prostitution . A child below 14yrs can’t be employed for any type of work.

7. AIMS & OBJECTIVES To estimate the dental age of the subjects(participants) To correlate the dental age with the actual age of the subjects. To compare the results obtained with other populations in India.

8. MATERIALS & METHODS STUDY SAMPLE: The study will be done at Ramakrishna vidyalaya ,Hindhocha school, Govt. primary school. b)SAMPLE SIZE: All students from each class from 1 st to 10 th standard in each school will be examied. SAMPLE SELECTION: Systematic random sampling
