Exam Paper Setter

This software can generate subjective and objective question paper for JNTUH affiliated colleges.

2. INTRODUCTION JNTUH conducts mid exams in all the affiliated colleges during every semester of the academic year. The responsibility of setting a subjective paper of the mid exam is given to the colleges. JNTU has been sending the objective mid paper to the affiliated colleges. But from past year, JNTU H has given the responsibility of objective mid paper to the colleges.

3. INTRODUCTION……. So, there has been a workload on teachers to find questions and arrange them into different sets. Our software is a solution to the above stated problem. It generates both the subjective and objective mid question paper with ease. So, our aim of the project is to automate this process of setting the mid question paper.

4. EPS Have you ever thought of setting an exam paper in just a few minutes ? The exam paper setter is a software which generates the question paper for any given questions in just a few minutes. Making the paper setting work automated we remove the workload of setting the question paper manually. This software sets our mid question paper within a few clicks in a couple of minutes.

5. GUIDE Here are some guidelines that should be followed to successfully set the paper.

6. HEADER The header block are important to be filled. The header consists of details to be entered like Subject Name,Type , Branch etc. All the details should be entered to proceed to the keywords sections. Once all the details are entered, click set details and the details will be saved successfully.

7. KEYWORDS The keywords are one of the important section of software. The questions are sorted based on keywords, so keywords should be entered carefully. Every keyword we enter should be separated by comma. Once entered, click the save keyword button to save them. After saving, different text files for each keyword are created.

8. SUBJECTIVE The subjective is the block which takes the file of questions and sort the questions based on the keyword. Enter the text file containing questions and click Add. A message”File Added Successfully!” will pop up. The questions are stored in the text files of the respective keyword.

9. SUBJECTIVE …….. After adding successfully, click the “Generate Questions” . Go on clicking the button until we get a message ” questions generated”. Now click the “Generate Sets” to generate the question paper. A message “Sets Generated Successfully” will pop up to ensure that question paper is generated into sets successfully.

10. OBJECTIVE The objective will sort the questions of objective paper based on keywords. Enter the file containing MCQ’s and click “Add”. Enter the file containing Fill ups and click “Add”. A message ”File Added successfully” will pop up .

11. OBJECTIVE…… Then, click “Generate questions” to generate the questions. Then, click “Generate Paper” to generate the objective question paper. A message “Objective Paper Generated Successfully” will pop up to ensure that question paper is generated successfully. Then click “ Generate Sets” to create different sets of the question paper.
