Future Scope
1000 hrs durability tests may be conducted on diesel engines and the wear associated
with the engine moving parts may be analyzed.
Instead of modifying the existing engine, new designs of engines may be attempted
keeping in mind comprehensive combustion optimization.
The studies on future biodiesel and biodiesel – diesel blends fuels may be carried out
in order to reduce its viscosity and NOx formation as well as improve spray
characteristics of non-edible vegetable oils.
