Explaining Crabs In A Bucket Mentality

What Is Crab Mentality? Crab Mentality is an analogy according to Psychology Today- The selfish and envious behavior of someone upon another persons success. Also defined as someone's tendency to pull down people around them who they consider are better than them in any aspect.

The Root Cause Of Crab Mentality

Tools For Moving Beyond The Bucket 1.) Focus on Yourself. Focus on your own self development and growth. 2.) Try not to comment on the flaws of other people. 3.) Strive to evaluate yourself and be a better person. Self improvement. 4.) Remember to persevere. Strive for success lifting your self up. 5.) Set specific goals. 6.) Stay dedicated to your own success and growth. Invest in your self. 7.) When we all strive for the best, for success- we as a result are “lifting up” and “not tearing down” or “pulling each other down.”
