Great Britain is an island lying off the western coast of Europe, comprising the main territory of the United Kingdom. What is Great Britain? Great Britain is the official name given to the two kingdoms of England and Scotland, and the principality of Wales.

3. Great Britain is made up of: England - The capital is London. Scotland - The capital is Edinburgh . Wales - The capital is Cardiff.

It is located east of Ireland and northwest of France in the Atlantic Ocean. The United Kingdom The United Kingdom is a country that includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Its official name is “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. ” England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are often mistaken as names of countries, but they are only a part of the United Kingdom.

Women are considered valuable only for domestic duties and marriageable commodities. Anglo Saxon Literature began not with books but with incantations, their purpose was to pass a tribal history and values to an audience that could not read.
