EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This Report provides an overview of my internship at CHHOTA GAROL JHORA HOSSAIN AHMADIYA QAUMIYA MADRASA, WEST BENGAL facilitated by HADIA CSE ASSAM ( OXFORD SCHOOL). Our internship focused on forming a students union, Implementing a basic English language course and setting up the attendance tracking system. Key objectives included enhancing student representation ,improving English proficiency and management system. The report outlines the steps taken, challenges faced, outcomes achieved and the lessons learned throughout the internship period.
INTERNSHIP TIMELINE
INTRODUCTION Chhota Garol Jhora is a rural village located in the Coochbehar district of West Bengal, situated near the border of Bangladesh. Due to its proximity to the border, the village has a soldiers’ camp that conducts security checks on individuals entering the village. The village lacks modern amenities, with homes constructed from sheets and no water pipe system. At the heart of the village is the Hossain Ahmadiya Qaumiya Madrasa, a religious educational institution with 77 students and 6 teachers. The madrasa provides free accommodations and food for its students, who undergo a six-year program focused solely on religious studies in Bangla and Urdu. After completing their studies, students are sent to the main college in Kishanganj to become maulanas . However, the madrasa’s curriculum does not include material studies or English language instruction, leaving students without a foundation in general knowledge or English basics, despite their interest in acquiring such skills.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project 1: Formation of Students’ union. Objective: to voice their opinions, develop leadership skills and programs.

CONCLUSION The internship at CHHOTA GAROL JHORA HOSSAIN AHMADIYA QAUMIYA MADRASA, WEST BENGAL was a valuable experience, contributing to personal growth, organizational and management development. The successful implementation of the students’ union and Basic English language course and attendance tracking system has laid a strong foundation for ongoing improvement in student representation , academic and management proficiency.
