Each screen has different information, and each key changes function to suit the screen. Beneath each screen in this manual is a description of the function of each soft key

The Display/Keypad 4 3. Fixed Function Keys Acknowledge, To acknowledge an off-normal event Fire Alarm, List of events associated to the fire alarm Security, List of events associated to the security Supervisory, List of events associated to the supervisory Trouble, List of events associated to the trouble Other Event, Pre-alarm and disable events Signal Silence, Press this key to turn off all control modules and panel output circuits that have been programmed as silenceable . Drill, Press this key, holding it down for 2 seconds, to activate all silenceable fire output circuits System Reset, Press this key to clear all latched alarms and other events as well as turn off event LEDs. If alarms or other off-normal events exist after reset, they will resound the system and relight the LEDs.

The Display/Keypad 5 4. Special Function Keys Arrow keys, Pressing these keys navigates through the programming fields on a display screen by advancing or reversing the cursor position. Enter, Pressing this key navigates through the programming fields on a display screen by advancing the cursor. Esc, Press this key once to leave the current field without saving the entry. Press this key twice in succession to discard any changes made on the screen and exit to the previous screen. Print screen, Press this key to print what is displayed on the display screen. Event Reporting Format 8 Point Events Format The format of the first line will vary slightly as follows, depending on the type of event: The second, third and fourth lines always contain the same device information, as follows:

Event Reporting Format 9 This following picture is the example screen while event occurs.

MENU NAVIGATION 10 This screen is accessible from the System Normal Screen and from most other screens by pressing the BACK soft key until it displays.

MENU NAVIGATION 11 Event Counts Display This screen will automatically display if an off-normal event requiring acknowledgement occurs, unless the panel is in programming mode. Fire alarm events will display even in programming mode. Lines six and seven display current counts of off-normal events in six categories. The counts include both acknowledged and unacknowledged events

MENU NAVIGATION 12 2. More Information Pressing the More Information soft key displays a screen that contains additional information about the event shown in the top four lines. Note: Line 11 to 14 are a limited application. It is only be applicable for smoke/heat detector non wireless.

MENU NAVIGATION 13 3. Multiple Event List Pressing the Multiple Event List soft key shows off-normal events simultaneously in groups of eight. One event is shown at the top, and seven are shown in the list below it with particular sequence based on alarm priority. This following picture is an example of multiple event list screen

MENU NAVIGATION 14 4. History Display The History Select screen allows the user to select a type of history file to view, and to set time/date or point range viewing parameters. The particular menu items will not appear on the History Display screen if no associated events are in the queue. Soft Keys function: ALL EVENTS, ALARMS ONLY, TROUBLES ONLY, SUPERVISORY ONLY, AND SECURITY/OTHERS - Pushing the associated soft key selects the type of history to be viewed. TIME/DATE INTERVAL - Sets a time/date interval of events to be displayed. POINT RANGE - Sets a range of points for which events will be displayed

FACP SYSTEM MAINTENANCE MANUAL 31 This section will explain the maintenance of NFS2-3030 FACP system. The structure is design based on typical behavior of FACP system NFS2-3030 including internal system, detector, and module. The maintenance structure and recommendation could be seen on this following table.

FACP SYSTEM MAINTENANCE MANUAL 32 Walk Test User could perform the walk test to ensure the FACP system functionality is still in the good performance IMPORTANT! Prior to Walk Test, secure all protected buildings, and notify the building owner/operator, fire department, and other pertinent personnel that testing is in progress. Immediately after Walk Test is completed, notify the same people that testing is complete and the system is restored to normal operation. Reconnect releasing devices. Walk Test will “time out” and return to normal operation after one hour when no Walk Test activations have occurred during that time. Walk Test may be exited at any time by pressing the ABORT soft key on the screen. Walk test steps: PRESS START TEST – FlashScan poll mode Each intelligent addressable input device will blink its address in red, and each intelligent addressable output device will blink its address in green. Pattern examples are given below. An output device activated in Basic Walk Test will remain active and the LED will glow steady green for – 4 seconds for alarms – 8 seconds for troubles. An output device activated in Advanced Walk Test will remain active and the LED will glow steady green until the NEXT TEST soft key is pressed.

FACP SYSTEM MAINTENANCE MANUAL 33 Walk test steps: 2. Choose walk test parameter in the walk test menu.

FACP SYSTEM MAINTENANCE MANUAL 34 Walk test steps: Walk test parameters . After done selecting the parameters, continue to press POINT SELECT to select the point and press START TEST to begin the walk test. Walk test result is available in the printer function menu and could be printed if only printer available Finish.

User could go to FACP Panel and do the following steps: Login to FACP In the main menu, press MORE INFORMATION to get the first four line of the event occurred. At line 13, it will give the user regarding the devices maintenance information as shown on this following picture

FACP SYSTEM MAINTENANCE MANUAL 36 This following table describe each status maintenance requirements for addressable detectors. Regarding modules and internal system. User should do this following maintenance activity: Check the Module status by accessing the READ STATUS button Problem at the Module FMM 4-20 could effected the Field detector performance. There is no particular maintenance requirement for modules as long as field detector reading status is good. Check the electrical wiring inside FACP and Junction box Tighten each termination inside FACP and Junction box Check the main AC Supply voltage to FACP Check the supply DC voltage to FACP and each modules Check the supply voltage and resistance of SLC Loop Measure the battery voltage Clean the operating unit Clean the display and the front plate with a wet cloth.
