CLASS RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Attendance and punctuality is part of the students’ performance since it is part of their job role/responsibility. 2. Grading System adheres to the policies governing assessment and certification procedure contained in the TR for WTR. (TESDA Circular No.4, series of 2011) 3. Trainees are expected to obey CLASS RULES AND REGULATIONS and to act in accordance with the acceptable norms of democratic society. 4. Trainees are expected to maintain and respect their fellow trainees and to all institute personnel. 5. Trainees are required to dress appropriately and decently at all times. Unusual, offensive or indecent clothing and/or manner of grooming is strictly prohibited. 6. Trainees are expected to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the premises of the institute. The trash can should be used in disposing all forms of refuse. 7
Competency Based Training 8 CBT stands for competency based training it is a training delivery approach that focuses on the competency development of a learner as a result of a training so this means that it does not focus only with what you know but what you can actually do with what you know it focuses more on the outcomes rather than the process and it is learner centered
The training is based on curriculum developed from the competency standards. Learning is modular in structure. Training delivery is individualized and self- paced. Training is based on work that must be performed. Training materials are directly related to the competency standards and the curriculum. TEN (10) PRINCIPLES OF CBT 9
Assessment of learners is based in the collection of evidences of work performance based on industry or organizational required standards. Training is based on and off the job components . The system allows Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). The system allows for learner to enter and exit programs at different times and levels and to receive and award for competencies attained at any point.
