What is Declarative Sentence? What is Interrogative Sentence? What is Imperative Sentence? What is Exclamatory Sentence?

Declarative Sentence A sentence that makes a statement and ends with a period.

This girl is ready to go to school.

The girl hugs his father. The father loves his daughter so much.

Imperative Sentence A sentence that states a command or request and ends with a full stop.

Class, group yourselves into three .

Please, don’t be late next time. Please, check my work Ma’am.

Imperative sentence can also possibly end with an exclamation mark when a command shows a strong feeling.

Stop yelling at me!

Interrogative Sentence A sentence that states a question and it always ends with a question mark.

How am I going to pass the exam?

Exclamatory Sentence A sentence that expresses strong feelings and ends with an exclamation point.

Yes! I passed the exam!
