VISION STATEMENT Through the collaboration with other committees withing our organization our vision is to empower youth and create sustainable impact in Zimbabwean communities, becoming the leading youth charity organization in Zimbabwe and globally by 2029 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 2

OUR GOALS Increase annual fundraising revenue by 20% each year to support projects and initiatives in Zimbabwe. Expand the donor base by 20% annually, both locally and internationally, with a specific focus on donors interested in Zimbabwean development. Establish partnerships with corporations, foundations, and local businesses in Zimbabwe to support and amplify the impact of our initiatives. Implement effective marketing and communication strategies through the marketing director to raise awareness about the organization's work and impact in Zimbabwe and globally. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 3

OUR STRATEGIES 1. FUNRAISING STRATEGIES Develop tailored fundraising campaigns that resonate with donors interested in Zimbabwean development and the organization's focus on the first six SDGs. Cultivate relationships with Zimbabwean diaspora communities and international donors passionate about supporting Zimbabwean youth. Explore grant opportunities from international organizations and foundations focused on youth empowerment and sustainable development in Zimbabwe through the Donor Relations Manager. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 4

STRATEGIES CONTINUE Leverage technology and online platforms to reach donors globally, providing them with convenient and secure donation options that is through our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Facebook. Regularly evaluate fundraising strategies, adapting and optimizing approaches based on donor feedback and evolving trends. 2. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, including individuals, community leaders and organizations, to gain their support and involvement in the organization's initiatives. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 5

STRATEGIES CONTINUE Engage with Zimbabwean government agencies and policymakers to foster collaboration and amplify the impact of the organization's projects. Establish partnerships with local universities, schools and youth organizations to leverage their networks and resources for youth empowerment programs in the support of the President’s Vision 2029. Conduct regular stakeholder engagement activities, such as events, workshops and forums, to foster dialogue and promote active participation in the organization's work through the Events Coordinator and Donor Relations Manager. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 6

STRATEGIES CONTINUE 3. PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS  Identify and establish strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations and local businesses in Zimbabwe that share the organization's vision and can provide financial support, resources or expertise in the form of training to our teams. Collaborate with local NGOs and community-based organizations working in related areas to share knowledge, resources and best practices. Foster partnerships with international organizations and nonprofits to access global networks, funding opportunities, and technical expertise for sustainable development projects in Zimbabwe. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 7

STRATEGIES CONTINUE Develop Memorandums of Understanding ( MoUs ) and partnership agreements to ensure clear objectives, roles, and responsibilities for all stakeholders involved. 4. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION Develop a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy tailored to the Zimbabwean context, utilizing both traditional and digital channels. Utilize local media outlets, including television (ZBC), radio (ZBC), newspapers (Herald, Newsday, Sunday Mail etc ), and community newsletters, to reach a wide audience and raise awareness about the organization's work. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 8

STRATEGIES CONTINUE Leverage social media platforms popular in Zimbabwe, such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Instagram, to engage with the local community, share success stories, and promote fundraising campaigns. Translate marketing materials and communication efforts into local languages to ensure accessibility and inclusivity including but limited to Ndebele, Shona and others. Conduct targeted marketing campaigns in Zimbabwe and internationally to engage specific donor segments interested in Zimbabwean development. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 9

STRATEGIES CONTINUE 5. TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION   Embrace technological advancements to enhance the organization's operations, donor engagement, and project implementation in Zimbabwe in support with the Presiden t's vision 2029. Maintain an engaging and informative website that showcases the organization's projects, impact, and donation options (www.hsfoundation.co.zw). Explore innovative fundraising methods, such as mobile payment platforms and crowdfunding, to reach a broader donor base in Zimbabwe and globally. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 10

STRATEGIES CONTINUE Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of online campaigns, optimize donor targeting, and personalize communication efforts. MONITORING AND EVALUATION Regularly monitor progress towards the goals outlined in the vision plan.  Track fundraising revenue, donor growth, and donor retention rates to assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies. Conduct regular impact assessments and evaluations of projects and initiatives to measure their contribution to the first six SDGs in Zimbabwe. Solicit feedback from donors, partners, and beneficiaries to gauge their satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement. Conduct periodic reviews of the vision plan, considering the evolving needs of Zimbabwean communities and adjusting strategies accordingly. 13 JULY 2024 HS FOUNDATION 12

CLOSING STATEMENT By implementing this vision plan, the Fundraising Committee of HS Foundation aims to secure resources, build strong relationships, and grow the donor base of the organization, ultimately achieving its goal of becoming the leading youth charity organization in Zimbabwe and globally by 2029.
