This is my presentation on Futurama for communication skills it is about the tv cartoon series Futurama and it shows how it started and developed to become a very successful tv show and gained a lot of fans and viewers

1. FUTURAMA Phillip Fry is a 25-year-old pizza delivery boy whose life is going nowhere. When he accidentally freezes himself on December 31, 1999, he wakes up 1,000 years in the future and has a chance to make a fresh start. He goes to work for the Planet Express Corporation, a futuristic delivery service that transports packages to all five quadrants of the universe. His companions include the delivery ship's captain, Leela , a beautiful one-eyed female alien who kicks some serious butt, and Bender, a robot with very human flaws.

3. TECHNOLOGY Rough draft studio’s animates Futurama , and uses a variety of different animation skills to make an episode including CGI and Power animator the CGI is set at 24 frames per second. The original animation was hand drawn for the first series and then put into a computer simulator. One of the main attractions of Futurama is when its set in the future because we don’t know the future the possibilities that they can put into there story lines are endless.

4. Language style The language style of writing of Futurama is urban and non formal the language style is set so that people of all class’s can understand and relate to the subject of the particular Episode. As well as being set in the future there are many references to the past AKA our present Time so that people can relate even more and find it funny and amusing. Futurama Alien Language

5. The series of Futurama There are currently seven seasons of Futurama and five films they are currently in production of the eighth series and will be released in 2012.
