FUZZY LOGIC- BASED TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER Presented By Mr.Sujit Bharat Shinde B.E instrumentation & Control Department Department of Instrument ation and contro l , Enginnering Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni

AIM AND OBJECTIVE Aim To design and implement a fuzzy logic-based temperature control system. Objective To maintain a desired temperature setpoint by adjusting the heater or cooler output using fuzzy logic rules based on real- time sensor input.

INPUT DEVICES Keyboard Used for user input or setting parameters (like desired temperature). Temperature Sensor Senses the current temperature of the environment or object.

OUTPUT DEVICES Display & Indicators Shows temperature readings, status indicators, or user- defined settings. Fan Activated to cool the system when the temperature is above the set point. Heater Activated to heat the system when the temperature is below the set point.

HARDWARE TOOLS Fuzzy Logic Controller Replaces conventional PID logic. Uses fuzzy sets: "Cold", "Warm", "Hot". Processes rules like: IF temperature is Cold THEN increase heater power .

BLOCK DIAGRAM Keyboard Fuzzy Controller Power Supply Display & Indicators Driver Analog to Digital converter Temperature Sensor Heater Fan Heater Fan Temperature Sensor

FUZZY LOGIC OVERVIEW Mimics human reasoning using IF- THEN rules. Handles uncertainty and non- linear systems better than PID in some cases. Rule- based decision- making based on degrees of truth .

CONCLUSION Provides a stable, responsive temperature control. Efficient and adaptable for various environments. Suitable for smart systems and automation applications .
