6. Greenhouse effect Discovered by Joseph Fourier in 1824. Some solar radiation is reflected by earth and atmosphere. Some radiations absorbed and re-emitted in all directions by greenhouse gase molecules. The effect of this is to warm the earth’s surface. Greenhouse gases :water vapour , carbondioxide , CFCs ,methane etc.

7. Deforestation Timber of tree also sequesters carbon. Deforestation means timber may be used &converted to co2. Co2 is greenhouse gas which caused global warming.

11. Industrial advancement Factories needs coal ,petroleum etc for power. Burning of these fuels releases CO₂ which absorbs harmful radiations from sun making it warm ,hence cause global warming. Smoke produced by factories mixed with air which is harmful for breathing.

12. Volcanic eruptions Eruptions contain dust particles & sulphur dioxide which stay in atmosphere for years. Which block sunlight from reaching surface of earth making it cool.

14. Impact on people Increased temperature leads to many diseases like dengue fever , malaria , yellow fever. It also leads to dehydration &heat stroke.

16. Impact on animals Global Warming can disrupt migration, hibernation & reproductive cycles of animals. Mental illness caused due to shortage of foods.

17. Impact on plants Change in rainfall & temperature effect the growth of crops. Leading to food shortage & famine.

19. Impact on sea life Sea plants like phytoplankton, algae which serve food , O2 to marine are extinct rapidly. Warming of oceans also lead to migration of sea animals .

22. HOW TO HELP STOP GLOBAL WARMING -> Buy use energy efficient products -> Plantation of Trees -> Use less heat & air conditioning -> Change light bulbs -> Drive less & drive smart -> Use 3R’s( Reuse,Reduce,Recycle )

MAINTAINANCE OF GLOBAL WARMING : 3R’s -> REDUCE : (Reduce amount of Earth’s resources that we are used) - Reduce the waste created by purchasing in bulk, buying items with less packaging and switching to reusable instead of single-use items. - Businesses can adopt manufacturing methods that require fewer resources and generate less waste .
