Leo Tolstoy He was born on September 9, 1828 in Tula Province, Russia He was a novelist, short story writer and philosopher. In September 1869, he experienced an anxiety crisis and in that time he believed he had gone mad. He fell into a deep spiritual crisis driven by a sense of purposelessness and a fear of death, and he turned toward intense religiosity. He turned his attention to writing religiously-focused literature, including essays on Christ’s teachings, a synthesis of the four gospels, and didactic or instructive moral tales.

Plot A merchant named Aksionov still continue his journey at a fair despite of his wife 's premonition. After spending a night in an inn, he was being arrested due to a murder he did not commit. Later on 26 years in prison, he met the real killer, Semyonich. He is now battling himself on two things, forgiveness or revenge. He did not point his fingers and instead he forgives Semyonich. Semyonich confessed his guilt but it's too late because when the order was released, Aksionov was already dead.

Exposition A merchant named Aksionov still continue his journey at a fair despite of his wife's premonition.

Rising Action After spending a night in an inn, he was being arrested due to a murder he did not commit.

Climax Later on 26 years in prison, he met the real killer, Semyonich. He is now battling himself on two things, forgiveness or revenge.

Falling Action He did not point his fingers and instead he forgive Semyonich.

Resolution Semyonich confessed his guilt but it's too late because when the order was released, Aksionov was already dead.
