WHAT IS FITT? F - requency I - ntensity T - ime T - ype

Frequency refers to the number of times you exercise in a week.

INTENSITY refers to difficulty level of the exercise. It measures the aerobic endurance training needs of an individual.

INTENSITY The formula for maximal hearts rate (MHR): MHR – age = predicted heart rate

type Refers to activities that make use of large muscles.

time It refers to the length of the time you do the physical activity which may be 20 minutes to 30 minutes while maintaining the heart rate.

Exercise Safety and Precautions Always warm up before and cool down after workouts to prevent injuries. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water before, during, and after exercise. Listen to your body and avoid overexertion; take breaks when needed.
