Time enables humans to make logical connections among processes or events that were lived or imagined that may exist independently of each other (Maturana, 2008). 2. “[We] exist in the present, as a continuously changing here and now " (Maturana, 2005, p.59). “Consciousness is the name we give to the astounding   realization of immediate existence” ( Bitbol , 2011, p.1).  "Past and future are manners of living in the present… [which explains]… how what we live has come to be, and the future is an image that we live now of how our now will be transformed" (Maturana, 2005,  p.57). : “W e live our biological continuous changing present without time, that is in zero time , as all living beings do even when we use the notion of time as a physical dimension, forgetting that it is an imaginary " (Maturana, 2008, p.3).
