DEFINITION INTRODUCTION
Milk Milk is a nutrient-rich liquid food produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest solid food. FACTORY a building or group of buildings where goods are manufactured or assembled chiefly by machine.
MILK FACTORY Milk factory is a place, premises or facility where milk or milk products are collected, handled, processed, stored, pasteurized, bottled or prepared for wholesale distribution
IMPORTANCE OF MILK FACTORY Milk factory is an important source of subsidiary income to small/marginal farmers and agricultural labourers. The manure from animals provides a good source of organic matter for improving soil fertility and crop yields. The gober gas from the dung is used as fuel for domestic purposes as also for running engines for drawing water from well. The surplus fodder and agricultural by-products are gainfully utilised for feeding the animals. 1. Nearness of the selected area to veterinary, breeding and milk collection center and the financing bank’s branch. 2. Availability of good quality animals in nearby livestock market. 3. Availability of training facilities. 4. Availability of good grazing ground/lands. 5. Green/dry fodder, concentrate feed, medicines etc. 6. Availability of veterinary aid/breeding centres and milk marketing facilities near the scheme area.
7.It increases the quality of the products. 8.It reduces the workload of farmers and dependency on workers. 9.It helps for making products faster and easier. 10. The highly advanced machines are easy to clean with less physical effort due to that milk plants always get clean. 10. These advanced machines can be operated 24 hours for making good quality products. 11. It helps to get more output with few workers. 12. It helps to keep product quality maintain With the help of advanced machines 13. it is easy to provide low-cost product to the people.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Consumers Processor Trader Producer Safe dairy products Better milk quality Reduced cost of transport Protection of the raw milk market Access to quality services (either publically or privately provided) Product value for money Increased access to markets (domestic and export) Minimize competition with imports Fair pricing for quality products Variety of products Input into policy/advocacy Input into policy/advocacy Stable farm income/and reduced income risks Nutritional products Optimizing plant capacity Expand and diversify operations Access to milk for home consumption Readily available Stable milk supplies Stable milk supplies, regular access Increased productivity of animals Properly labelling and packaged Assured access to quality inputs More formalized market role Availability to quality inputs
D esign of buildings : The following must be taken into account: A- The space allocated for each activity must be proportional to the nature of - The number and size of tools and machines - The number of workers and their movement - The type and movement of materials. When the final product is reached, in a milk pasteurization plant, the production line usually begins with: - milk delivery - refrigeration of milk - preheating of milk - naturalization - pasteurization and cooling - filling c - there must be a separation between the processes that may cause cross-contamination (reverse pollution For example, it is necessary to separate between the filtering process of raw milk and the process of filling pasteurized milk
D- Sanitary facilities should be separated from the rest of the activities inside the dairy factory or factory and should be separated by a well-ventilated space, and these facilities should be on the opposite side to the gusts of wind F- The need to design the building in a way that prevents pests from entering and harboring them by avoiding open design G- Adequate ventilation must be provided inside The building h- Taking into account the possibility of expansion in the future without replacing the current facility i- It is designed in a way that ensures economy in the energy needed for cooling, heating and lighting

Similar models The factory is located in Hella Coco, right after the driveway. It is bordered on the north and west by Qantara Park, on the east by an industrial area, and on the south by Kassala Street, which was established in 2006 Al Rawabi Dairy and Juice Factory:-
The ground floor consists of: Administration - production hall - raw material stores - finished product stores - labor services
The basement consists of warehouses and two entrances, one of which leads to entry from the outside and the other to the production hall, where the second was canceled after the factory was rehabilitated
Production hall of four lines: milk production line Yogurt production line Ghabsha production line mash production line Picture (2-21) showing the production hall in the factory _ _ _ _
Lessons learned from the study : Knowing how each of the above-mentioned lines works and the machines used How to receive raw milk How to link the entrance of workers and administrators to the hall, to identify the locations of the stores of raw materials, the final product and the movement of trucks
Almarai Dairy Factory: Almarai factory is located in Saudi Arabia in Al-Kharj Governorate, southeast of Riyadh. The area of the factory is 50000 m2 and the number of employees is more than 7000. The factory contains 17 production lines that produce 114 types of different products
The milk arrives to the factory from 6 farms containing (135 mouthfuls of dairy cows - sheds for urination - and pens of newborn calves). The farm also includes - (a feed factory - stores for sustenance - a veterinary center containing 30 employees and technicians - administration - local, where the area of the farm is about 82 thousand square meters and the average cow production is about 13 thousand liters per year and 90 liters per day
Lessons learned: The stages that raw milk goes through from the milking process to the final product (full fat milk - milk Loose. fat) How to monitor cows during milking and find out which ones have been milked or vaccinated - How to face the challenges of high temperatures in the barns so as not to affect the productivity of the cow
