10. Plant nursery – By Jon Allen We can set up a plant nursery, a plant nursery is where vegetables, ornamental plants, and fruit bearing trees are propagated. It is also used for storing tools and equipment. In putting up a nursery, you must consider using light materials such as bamboo or nipa for the nursery house, shed, and greenhouse. The roof is built in such way that the seedlings are protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain. It is also a good source of income and finally nursery work, learning skills for germination and plant propagation is needed in nursery work.

11. We need a seedbox or a seedbed, a seedbox or a seedbed is a container where you sow seeds before transporting them into a garden plot. The seeds for planting should be selected from healthy plants. The best fruits of these plants are good sources of viable seeds. 12. Seed Germination – By Jon Allen Seed Germination The seed is the ripened ovule from where a plant may be reproduced. The germinating seed first sends down a root to establish itself on the ground. Before the seed can produce or acquire its food, it may use the food stored inside it to sustain itself. To germinate seeds, you need garden soil, compost, sprinkler and seedbed. Seed Germination - Procedure Combine the garden soil and compost thoroughly. Put the mixture in the seedbed. Water the soil in the seedbed using a sprinkler. Sow the seeds thinly and uniformly in rows. Cover the seeds lightly with the soil mixture.
