Our Why
How We Innovate and Impact
We transform your visionary goals into digital
realities, empowering nonprofits and
government agencies to thrive in today's
dynamic world.
In the new Age of Acceleration, many nonprofits and government
agencies are challenged by a lack of digital infrastructure. This gap
inhibits their ability to keep pace and effectively support the most
vulnerable populations.
Tapp’s mission is more than just business growth; it's about driving
digital innovation across rapidly expanding sectors. We strive to
transfer our knowledge, tools, and technology to government
agencies and nonprofits that are tackling society's most pressing
challenges.
We achieve this by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence,
developing high-impact websites, software, and data-driven
campaigns. Our AI-enabled digital transformation strategies
enhance the positive impact of the organizations we serve and
amplify their engagement with the communities they support.

Growth-Driven Methodology
For Nonprofit Websites

12 © TechSoup Global. All Rights Reserved.
Difficult to Plan
Nonprofits grow and pivot all of the time. Attempting to plan and
implement technology to support your ever evolving organization and
mission is difficult.
High Cost & Long Timelines
Attempting to plan for the future with little certainty leads to
unnecessary costs and long timelines.
Limited Updates Post-Launch
Time, budget, and resources get burned out during the process and
the new site often sits untouched, requiring the organization to start
this time consuming process over again every 3-5 years.
What’s wrong with traditional website design?

•Crucial for ensuring that text and images are
perceivable by users with visual
impairments.

•Poor color contrast can make content
difficult or impossible to read for users with
low vision or color blindness.

•Aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for
normal text and 3:1 for large text (at least
18pt or 14pt bold).

•Check contrast for both text and interactive
elements such as buttons and links.

Integration & Automation
Opportunities
•Constituent Relationship Management (CRM)
•Marketing Automation Tools
•Donations & Fundraising

30 © TechSoup Global. All Rights Reserved.
Constituent Relationship
Management (CRM)
•The tools, technologies, processes, and
strategies that an organization uses to
manage, improve, and deploy all its
interactions, regardless of audience type.
•Where organizations store constituent records
and then use those records to communicate
with people and drive engagement.
•A data-driven technology that can be leveraged
to send mass communications, automate
recurring processes, and track the success of
campaigns online.

HubSpot
HubSpot is an all-in-one communication,
fundraising, and customer service
platform that helps organizations grow
better. It provides a suite of tools that can
help your nonprofit increase support.
With HubSpot, you can manage your
entire constituent journey from one
place, including creating and distributing
content, managing your social media
presence, automating your donation
processes, and tracking your
performance.

Marketing automation uses software to automate
monotonous marketing work. Marketing departments
can automate repetitive tasks such as email
marketing, social media posting, and even ad
campaigns - not just for the sake of efficiency, but
also to provide a more personalized experience
for their customers.

Examples of Marketing Automation:

•Drip Email Campaigns
•Workflows

Marketing Automation

Donor Management tools allow you to not
only collect donations online, but also
create a database of potential and existing
donors in order to establish communication
with them. The ability to capture and analyze
donor interactions allows you to customize
your communications and marketing efforts to
optimize fundraising efforts.

Donations & Fundraising

Phase 3: Continuous
Improvement
•Evaluate performance based on initial goals
•Collect UX feedback from target audiences
•Learn about your users
•Plan big or small updates to meet goals,
improve UX, and continue to collect feedback.

Custom Website Development
Strategy Content & Design Development QA, Testing, & Launch
Discovery, Content
Audit, & Scope of Work
At this stage we will identify
design, development, and
integration needs. Each need
will be reviewed and assigned a
priority. Applying the Growth
Driven Design methodology,
high priority items will be
considered for Phase 2:
Launchpad Website, while other
items will be noted and added to
a wish list for consideration
during the continuous growth
phase and beyond.
Tapp Network will collaborate
with the client to design a new
theme in-house that includes
templates for each of the
content types outlined above.
The design process takes into
account user experience best
practices, your organization’s
unique target audiences, and
the learnings from the content
audit.
The design is "mobile-first" and
is created to be responsive (on
common devices and browsers)
and accessible (ADA compliant
for visual impairment and other
common disabilities).

Our developers follow industry
standards for best practices
when building out your website.
These practices apply to the
entire CMS development
process but are particularly
critical when it comes to writing
code, developing databases and
installing plugins. Sites that are
built based on best practices are
scalable for future needs and
more efficient overall.
Custom sites are developed in a
staging environment in order to
allow for thorough testing and
review by both Tapp Network
and the client. At this point we
confirm functionality on all
devices and browsers ensuring
a smooth transition when the
site goes live.
