What is Habitat? Every Animal has a habitat. The place where an animal or plant lives and grows is called its habitat. A habitat is where an animal finds food, water and shelter.

Where is the origin of the dog? The earliest known dog-like fossils come from Europe. But DNA studies have implicated east Asia and the Middle East. Now a large DNA study is lining up with the fossils, suggesting dogs originated in Europe some 19,000 to 32,000 years ago

WHERE IS THE HABITAT OF THE DOGS? The natural habitat of the wolf is in the forests, beaches, plains, deserts and mountains. They survive by their wits and by those things they learn as part of the wolf pack. The natural habitat of the domestic dog is with humans in human environments.

Living Habitat of Dog

Where do the dogs live ? Dogs live in most countries around the world. Dogs can either live in the wild or as pets. The country with the highest pet dog population is the United States of America, which is home to 61,080,000 pet dogs. Dogs are one of the first animals that humans tamed, and are commonly known as 'man's best friend'

Dogs around the World

Do you know !!!! Pet dogs have many of the characteristics of wild dogs. They’re smart and have a good sense of smell and hearing. The raccoon dog is a furry dog that looks like a raccoon. It is the only dog that can climb trees. Wild dogs run in packs, or groups. A pack has a male and female leader. African hunting dogs have large ears and beautiful fur.

- In their natural environment, dogs are lean, fast and strong. - Whether the dog lives in a forest, prairie, desert, mountain or coastal habitat, he's got to eat. - His keen sense of smell finds prey, and he's got to be able to catch it, or he'll starve. -Domestication may have come about as some wolves shifted from fending for themselves to living near humans and foraging in their garbage -- and eventually being fed. - Play catch and throw sticks or disks for him to retrieve.
