APPARATUSREQUIRED:-LTSpice
THEORY:-Amultiplexer,alsoknownasadataselector,isadevicethatselectsbetweenseveral
analogordigitalinputsignalsandforwardsittoasingleoutputline.Itiscombinationallogicnetwork
whichhas2
n
inputs,nselectlinesandhasonlyoneoutput.
Amultiplexerofinputshasselectlines,whichareusedtoselectwhichinputlinetosendtothe
output.Multiplexersaremainlyusedtoincreasetheamountofdatathatcanbesentoverthenetwork
withinacertainamountoftimeandbandwidth.
Multiplexersarealsoknownas“Datanselector,paralleltoserialconvertor,manytoonecircuit,
universallogiccircuit”.
