inputs,nselectlinesandhasonlyoneoutput.
Amultiplexerofinputshasselectlines,whichareusedtoselectwhichinputlinetosendtothe
output.Multiplexersaremainlyusedtoincreasetheamountofdatathatcanbesentoverthenetwork
withinacertainamountoftimeandbandwidth.
Multiplexersarealsoknownas“Datanselector,paralleltoserialconvertor,manytoonecircuit,
universallogiccircuit”.
