NARCO CULTURA.
The film Narco Cultura by Shaul Schawarz, is a dramatically and extreme disturbing
documentary made by musicians who relate narco corridos with narco drug cartels
and their acting making the members look like heroes, expressing how they kill and
torture their enemies, pointing out the point of view of the top drug dealers. This
scandalous documentary examines and opens a door into the culture, language and
taboos among this Mexican drug cartels in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
From the year 2007 to 2010 in Ciudad Juarez the number of people killed had being
tremendously increasing from 320 murders to 3,622 per year. Not only members, ex
members, enemies or innocent people had being killed, but also police officers and
crime scene investigators have being victims of this cartels. Many crime scene
investigators live afraid of their lives, because of the threats of this cartel.

This cartels feel so powerful with this corridos, which in my opinion, they incite their
members to commit crimes inspired by listening to this songs. Many people in our
society, including children, listen to this songs, sing this songs, and dance with them,
without knowing that they are unconsciously adopting this brutal words in our
culture, in our new generations, in our children like a good gene to pass on. In my
opinion many want to be feel the power this narcos represent, the respect people have
for them, which they are totally wrong because narcos do not represent respect, what
narcos really reflect to our society is fear, confusion, unsafety, uncomfortableness,
