RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY
Recreational activity Recreation refers to all those activities that people choose to do to refresh their bodies and minds and make their leisure time more interesting and enjoyable.
It relaxes your mind and body. It relieves your day-to-day tension Universal need of man Recreational activity
Existence time the time spent for biological needs like having meal, sleeping and other personal care.
Subsistence time refers to the hours spent for economic purposes such as going to work, chores, and for students the hours spent in school and school work.
Free time It is all the remaining time.
Classification of recreational activities
Spectator type People spend their time watching the event and derive enjoyment from it.
participant type People do not gain enjoyment merely by watching; they do so by joining the activity.
Types of recreation
active type People have to function effectively in performing the action
passive type People have no excessive movement in performing the task or action.

INDOOR ACTIVITIES
Indoor recreation They are undertaken in the comfort of one’s home or more specifically indoors. There are well-established clubs or recreation centers that have well-equipped indoor leisure facilities, which cater to sports activities for all ages and abilities, but it can be done just at home for simple activities.
