In the Alphabet Hunt game, participants aim to find objects, person or words starting with each letter of the alphabet, progressing from A to Z. Players can race against each other or challenge themselves individually to locate items corresponding to each letter as quickly as possible. This game helps reinforce letter recognition and phonics. The participants who lose will be penalized. They will dance the yoyoyo dance.

Critique a literary text using a Historical Approach

This literary approach focuses on the connections of work to the historical period in which it is written.

Its focus is on the life , times , and environment of the author , and this approach deals with the effects of these factors on the work of art. The values and perception of the reader’s own age are put aside.

Things to Remember in Historical Approach: A. How does it reflect the time in which it was written? Noli Me Tangere is a novel written by José Rizal, one of the national heroes of the Philippines. The setting of the novel was in the 19th century Philippines, specifically at Manila, during the latter years of the country as colony of Spain in Asia.

Things to Remember in Historical Approach: B. How accurately does the story depict the time in which it is set? "Noli Me Tangere" It is a compelling and important film that sheds light on the struggles and sacrifices of the Filipino people during the Spanish colonial era, and it serves as a potent reminder of the ongoing fight for justice and freedom around the world.

C. What literary or historical influences helped to shape the form and content of the work? Jose Rizal's correspondence with Ferdinand Blumentritt was a defining moment in his life. He eventually became Rizal's mentor, defender, and avid supporter.

D. How does the story reflect the attitudes and beliefs of the time in which it was written or set? (Consider beliefs and attitudes related to race, religion, politics, gender, society, philosophy, etc.)

E. What other literary works may have influenced the writer? He was inspired by “Uncle Tom's Cabin” to write about the inequities in Filipino society. With a Latin title (“Touch Me Not”) that alludes to a passage in the Bible, the work, published in 1887, explores the oppression of the local people by priests and the government during the era of Spanish colonization.

F. What historical events or movements might have influenced this writer? Jose Rizal wrote "My Last Farewell" include the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule , which Rizal supported but did not directly participate in.
