1. HOTEL RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR ROYAL WALLING SYANGJA HOTEL

2. Introduction The hotel reservation system is a web based application that will be used to reserve rooms online . It is a modernized way to handle the hotel management tasks. Customers can make searches, reservations and cancel an existing reservation on the hotel reservation’s website . owner can delete ,edit and update rooms information on admin end. Both customers as well the hotel owner feel comfortable in such a system. It puts together ease between them. 2

3. Organization Background I made this project for organization Royal walling syangja hotel. It is providing good services to people since 2005A.D which lies in newbuspark,kathmandu.The hotel is 1km walk from ringroad and very close to office of nepal telecome 3

4. Objective/Goals To provide fast and accurate services to clients. To maintain up to date information about the status of reservations and customers details . To maintain efficiency , reliability and saving of time for owner and customer. To record customer feedback . 4

5. Problem Statement As the entire room booking activities is managed manually through paper based system . so, it becomes much difficult for owner to keep the records updated all the time. Customer queries can be difficult to respond to as information is stored in different places in manual system. 5

6. DATA COLLECTION Primary Source: Primary source of data is collected and analysed directly through interview, observation, survey and questionnaire. Secondary Source: The secondary sources used while completing this project was different websites , reports. 6

7. Requirements Functional Admin can login into the system ,cancel booking,update rooms and change password. Admin can access user data and information. User can create account,login,booking and cancel room. Non-functional Speed Reliable Secure Robust 7

13. Conclusion This project helped us to get practical exposure to working environment. It taught us how important communication skills are in order to succeed in this technology sector.Overall,it was a great learning experience for us. I realized summer project has huge benefits for every student.Some of the advantages are: It helps to understand how tasks are perfomed in real working environment. It increases exploration and idea generation skills. It increases problem sloving skills. 13
