How to write a review article

The present slides illustrate the major points is writing a review paper that can be published in peer - review journal.

2. 3 First of all, let me explain in a simple words the definetion of review article. when the researchers read previous published works and summarized them in terms of text, figures and tables then this is what we called it a review article or literture review. Writing article review is very necessary as it helps the researchers to get the information about their topics that they aim to study it. Let me mention two example : first example, if the researchers is specialist in the cardiovascular CFD engineering, then it is neseccery to read the previous publications that illustrates this topic and how the researchers among the world used various CFD software to predict the cardiovescular diseases. Second example, if the researchers would like to examine the natural convection heat transfer within enclosure, then it is important for him for better understanding of the physical phenomenon and mathematical represntation is to read the previous publications as it will help them to know what are the problems that they would like solve? What are the difficulties? And so on.

3. Beside that the review article writing helps the researchers to get the proper direction for the study as they will avoid in their experimental and numerical work what the previous publications not recommended it One of the importance purposes of writing a review article is that it will help the writers to know the researchers and their universities for visiting them and cooperate with them to do their topic of study. Writing a review article helps to know about what we need to study? Or what are the limitations in the previous studies which it will help in the generation of the originality point. Citing the important review article is high which helps in increasing the H – index of the researchers and enhance the rank of his institution.

It is really important to read at least 40 – 70 published papers in peer – reviewed journals within the scope of the present work as this will help in understanding the topic of your work as mention before in point. 2 of this presentation. 5. Try to divided the previous publications in groups as this will make the article review more interested for other researchers. For example, if your article review is about the solar collectors, then divided the article review into the following groups; flat plate collectors, concentrating types, trough parabolic collectors and so on. Using of Endnote is recommended in the citing of the previous publications as this will avoid the writers the mistakes in numbering of huge numbers of the references or even the mistakes in writing the references. Beside that there are special form of references for each journals and the Endnote had this form built within it which facilitate and accelerate the process of writing. One of the important things in citing the publications is that they should be published in peer – reviewed journals as the Editor and reviewers do not like the publications of the predatory journals or publishers.

6. When starting in any group of the previous studies and describing the citing references then it is important to be related to your topic. For example. When the title topic and the problem is in the field of airplane drag reduction then the citing references should be related to this topic not on other issues like drag reduction on road vehicles. Inserting of photos and tables are required to explain the problems to the editors, reviewers and the reader (designer, engineer, biologist, researchers). The title should be concentrates on the problem that your reviewed and related to the citing references. Finally, special care when you writing the abstract and concluions as the editor at first look on you paper will read them and decided if we will complete to read the rest of your paper before he decided to send him the reviewers or even rejection it.
