Who is Martin Luther King Jr.? -born in January 15, 1929, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S - Baptist minister and social activist who led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s -fought against racial segregation and for the rights of African American -He delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech at March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963. -Tragically, his life was cut short by an assassin’s bullet in 1968
