My First Trip To Disneyland
Let s get lost in the world of fantasy! Have you ever been somewhere that you enjoyed a lot? A place

It was a chilling cold windy day on Christmas eve. The winter breeze woke me up and reminded me of
an exciting day to come. My family and I walked down the quiet street under the dark blue sky but my
heart was pounding with excitement. We got off at JR Maihama station and took the Disney resort line

relieve stress. This would increase my physical and emotional wellness, which would help me reach
my overall goal, to lower my level of stress by 3 5% (25% overall) each week for six weeks. I was
able to keep track of this by using an online stress test and journaling on a weekly basis. I took an
initial stress test before week one to establish a percentage of 49% (mild stress). Three out of the five
days of the week I was to run two miles, with the intention of lowering my time each run. I kept track
of this in my journal. Two out of the five days I did interval sprints on the treadmill (Walk for 1
minute, sprint for 2 minutes) for 15 minutes. My intentions were to increase my level of speed and
incline each day, which I recorded in my journal as well. My six weekly objectives were:

My college education began not at the institution about which I am writing, but rather another
university 12 miles away. For two years, I attended Maryville University in St. Louis with a triple
major in English, psychology, and sociology. Maryville University s campus was small with just three

The Gold Standard Athletic eligibility requirements are letting students get by without doing their
best. I believe more emphasis needs to be put on academics the reason we come to school. Right now,
the eligibility requirements to play sports are that the student athlete must not have a grade of one D
and one F. Grades are checked on every three weeks. I believe our school can do better. I think that a
grade of two D s, which will be checked on every week, should be this school s requirement. Let s
raise the bar! At the honor roll ceremony, I noticed that almost all of the students, junior and senior
high, were all recognized. In addition, 0% of students, in the junior high, were ineligible in the past
nine weeks. Since our school is already surpassing the requirements made, why not raise them? It s
becoming too easy to be eligible, with the obviously intelligent students we have here at Little River
schools. It will put more emphasis on schoolwork and students will be able to achieve even more
impressive and notable grades. This new requirement will force students to do the best they can, and
make their grades even better. School comes before athletics. There s a reason the term student athlete
