INTRODUCTION
1.The escalating costs of healthcare pose significant challenges to hospitals worldwide. Balancing financial sustainability with the delivery of high-quality patient care is a delicate equilibrium that healthcare institutions strive to achieve. 2. This project report delves into the critical issue of cost containment within hospitals, specifically analysing the methods employed by these institutions to control expenses without compromising patient well-being.
GPT Healthcare Limited A unit of ILS HOSPITAL OBJECTIVES
Identify methods that hospitals use to control costs without compromising patient care quality. Analyse the impact of cost containment on patient outcomes and satisfaction. Investigate the role of technology and innovation in reducing healthcare costs.
LIMITATIONS
I . Data Availability : Limited access to proprietary financial data from hospitals may restrict the depth of analysis. ii . Generalizability : Findings may not be applicable to all healthcare systems due to variations in policies, funding, and management practices. iii. Temporal Constraints : The rapidly evolving nature of healthcare technology and regulations may outdate the findings shortly after the publication of the report. iv. Scope of Research : The focus on cost containment may overlook other critical aspects of healthcare management and patient care. v. Subjectivity in Quality Assessment : Measuring the quality of patient care is subjective and may vary between different stakeholders. viii. Impact Measurement : Difficulty in quantifying the direct impact of cost containment strategies on patient care quality

CONCLUSION As part of our commitment to improving healthcare delivery, we are conducting a survey to understand the effectiveness of various cost containment strategies in hospitals
CONCLUSION In conclusion, this study has thoroughly examined the intricate balance between cost containment and the maintenance of high-quality patient care in hospitals. By focusing on cost-effective strategies that consider patients' financial conditions and preferences The investigation into the impact of cost containment on patient outcomes and satisfaction reveals that strategic cost management can lead to improved patient experiences and health results. Advanced technologies and innovative practices play a pivotal role in reducing healthcare costs, demonstrating that investment in technology can yield significant cost savings and enhance care quality . Based on the findings, several recommendations are provided for hospitals to refine their cost containment strategies. These include continued investment in technology, adoption of coordinated care models, focus on preventive care, and efficient resource management. By implementing these recommendations, healthcare administrators and policymakers can make informed decisions that balance financial sustainability with optimal patient outcomes. Overall, the study underscores that effective cost containment strategies are essential for the sustainability of healthcare systems. When implemented thoughtfully, these strategies can ensure that hospitals provide high-quality, cost-effective care, ultimately benefiting both patients and the broader healthcare landscape.
