Built by Akbar, the
construction continued
till the time of his
gradson Shah Jahan
This is a massive
sandstone fortification

Yamuna River

FATEHPUR SIKRI
Emperor Akbar
planned this city as his
capital but shortage of
water compelled him
to abandon it
Today is a “Ghost
city”, only visited by
tourists.
It’ s one of the finest
examples of Mughal
architectural splendor
at his height

AMBER FORT
An stuning building in
white marble and
sandstone, some rooms
are covered with
thousands of tiny mirrows
and coloured glass.
An intricated artwork, a
hallmark of indian
palaces
On top of a hill, you can
go up by elephant ! ! !

REAL PALACE

Built following the principes
set down in the “Shilpa
Shastra”, ancien Hindu text

There are 2 gigantic silver

attend the coronation of
King Edward VII
Also interesting is the
“Court of the beloved”, with

India has one of the world’s
oldest civilizations, forts and
palaces that dot the lanscape
are proud sentinels and
living reminders of India
rich civilization and culture.
They melt beauty and grace
with strenght.
