Society and individual are dependent as they develop their customs, values beliefs and norms for their comfortable living. 3. COMMUNITY Community represents a common interest of group life of like minded people. Usually small in size where people have sentimental attachment. The Word Community is derived from a Latin word COM--- COMING TOGETHER MUNIS ---- TO SERVE Community is a social organisation where people live in a definite locality to serve together. It prepares the individuals for the task through skill management techniques. Socialisation a way of preparing the next generation by transmitting values beliefs norms culture with the help of formal and informal groups. Social control is exercised through sentiments, set of rules and maintain community standards. Social participation is possible through various institutions and the interactions hat are helpful to mould the members character.
