MEDICAL SCREENING & SURVEILLANCE Medical Screening: In medical screenings, employees are evaluated over time, usually through testing, to determine if changes from baseline measurements have occurred from either work-related activity or work-related exposure. Screening tests are usually administered to individuals without current symptoms, but who may be at risk for certain adverse health outcomes. Medical screening is just one of the steps in the medical surveillance process. 14 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.  Medical Surveillance: Surveillance entails compiling and analyzing the health data from individuals as a group . Surveillance monitors groups of individuals (SEGs) for early detection and treatment of adverse health effects and determines the effectiveness of exposure prevention strategies. Allows for changes to be identified and take actions for correction

SECTION 3.2: REQUIREMENTS Identification of the group(s) of employees with potential exposure to hazards What it means: Identify employees for i nclusion in a medical program (based on site-specific risks) Assign employees, with similar risks, to the same medical surveillance programs based on the job. The iden tification should be: Similarly Exposed Groups [SEGs], B ased on site specific qualitative and quantitative exposure risks , and Other exposure standards, policy and guidance or regulatory statues. E xample Medical Surveillance Programs are included as Appendix A of the Specification document (SE-HS20-00002) 15 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.

SECTION 3.3: REQUIREMENTS Establish a process for implementing a medical screening and surveillance program for the identified workers. W hat it means: The process ensures: Medical surveillance is conducted by a designated Physician or other Licensed Health Care Professional (PLHCP) (either on-site or off-site clinic) or if not available by a local hospital or qualified third party. The PLHCP is familiar with the workplace and the potential hazards. Employees are informed of the results of each health evaluation A written medical opinion is provided to the employees 16 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.

SECTION 3.3: REQUIREMENTS – Cont. Types of Medical surveillance evaluations covered: Baseline Medical Surveillance Initial health status determined before recommending work assignments to ensure that workers are capable of performing the job safely Periodic Medical Surveillance All subsequent evaluations completed to ensure that no work-related illnesses have developed Exit/Termination Evaluation Evaluations are conducted to establish a record of postemployment health status. Post Occupational Exposure Evaluation Any non-scheduled evaluation arising from an incident resulting in a confirmed or suspected occupational exposure Additional 17 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.

SECTION 3.4: REQUIREMENTS Establish a process to evaluate the performance of external medical practitioners and staff providing medical surveillance and/or screening services. What it means: All external medical providers are required to sign a service agreement All medical service providers are bound by the confidentiality clause and all applicable privacy and data protection law Performance should be monitored through regular calls, site visits or alternative methods as deemed appropriate according to the site 18 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.

SECTION 3.5: LABORATORY REQUIREMENTS Document that any laboratory providing services for Jabil can demonstrate current certification of a laboratory quality program. What it means: Laboratory should be qualified. Examples include accreditations or certifications by: College of American Pathologists, Medicare provider (USA), Active participation in a recognized Clinical Laboratory Improvement Program Meets requirements ascribed by local, regional, or national authorities, or any other jurisdiction having authority, are met, or exceeded Only certified, regularly calibrated equipment is to be used for clinical procedures. 19 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. 20 RECORD KEEPING Confidential | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. All Rights Reserved.  All exposure assessment records, and medical records shall be kept secure and confidential . Comply with local laws/regulations on record keeping. (at least duration of employment plus 30 years)

Specification Documents ADDITIONAL RESOURCE: To assist in the implementation, a separate Specification document has been developed for each standard. The Specification document expands on the requirements of the standard and provides additional information and clarification. Each location is responsible for determining compliance with any additional governmental or local requirements with respect to industrial/occupational hygiene and occupational health/medicine medical surveillance programs. 21 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020. SUMMARY The standards for Industrial/Occupational hygiene and Occupational health/medicine are interrelated but address different aspects of maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. An annual IH Workplan is required. The Exposure Assessment Process can be qualitative or quantitative and helps to identify/group employees into the appropriate medical surveillance programs. Key information is required to develop a successful IH sample plan. Understanding the potential exposure helps in selecting the Exposure Control strategies There are different types of medical surveillance programs that can be conducted. 22 BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL | ©Jabil Inc. 2020.
