Influential People - Imaginary Interview Speaking Task

Students imagine they are reporters.
They choose an image of a person from one of the slides.
Tell them that they cannot look them up on the internet or find out any information about them.
Their task is to create an imaginary profile about them to share with the class. The following activities will reveal who they are.

Use your imagination to create a profile about them: Who are they? What do they do? Why are they influential? You can also include information about their wealth, family, interests, hometown, etc. Choose one person from the set of 6 Prepare to share your chosen character’s profile with the class. Have fun!
