2. INTRODUCTION   A  concrete mixer  (also  cement mixer ) is a device that homogeneously combines  cement ,  aggregate  (e.g. sand or gravel), and  water  to form  concret . A typical concrete mixer uses a revolving drum to mix the components. For smaller volume works, portable concrete mixers are often used so that the concrete can be made at the construction site, giving the workers ample time to use the concrete before it hardens. An alternative to a machine is mixing concrete by hand. This is usually done in a wheelbarrow; however, several companies have recently begun to sell modified  tarps  for this purpose .

3. DRUM MIXER A Concrete Batch Mixer is a type of mixer used in the construction industry to mix a specific quantity of concrete at a time. This type of mixer is suitable for small to medium-sized construction projects where the demand for concrete is not too high . The concrete batch mixer typically consists of a drum or container where all the ingredients are added in a predetermined order. The ingredients usually include  cement , sand, water, and aggregates such as crushed stone or gravel. This mixer comes in different sizes, and the size of the mixer is determined by the amount of concrete that needs to be mixed.
