Title: My Artistic Recipe Book Materials: Colored paper , Coloring Materials, Ruler, and Marker, magazine, scissors, glue, pencil with eraser, and any art materials.

1. Choose a specific type of cuisine or a theme for your recipe book (e.g., Filipino cuisine, healthy smoothies or beverages).

2. Create a cover page for the recipe book using commercial art principles (e.g., balanced composition, eye-catching colors, effective typography).

3. Design 1st and 2nd pages of the recipe book for at least two (2) recipes of your favorite food or beverage that has almost the same ingredients, requiring the use of fractions and mixed numbers in ingredient measurements. Ensure the design incorporates artistic elements (e.g., illustrations, images, decorative borders). (i.e., Menudo, Mechado , and Caldereta , Adobo) Example: 1 and ½ kilo po pork ¼ kilo of onion ½ cup of water

4. Include step-by-step instructions for each recipe, written clearly and artistically.

5. On the next page, show the calculation of the total quantities of all the ingredients needed that are the same on the two recipes and provide the measurements in fractions and mixed numbers. Example: Adobo – 1 1/2 pork + Mechado – 1 ½ pork

6. The next page, list 3 mixtures from the different ingredients and identify if it is homogeneous or heterogeneous mixture. Example: Flour and Water - Heterogeneous Mixture Water - Homogeneous

7. At the last page of the recipe book, write 3 sentences with figure of speech out of any ingredients on your recipes or how you describe the taste of the foods on your recipe book. English My parent’s love is as sweet as the sugar. (simile)
