About ISO ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s Largest Developer and the publisher of International Standards . ISO is a network of national standards institutes of 163 countries, one member per country with a central secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland that coordinates the system. ISO is a non government organisation that forms a bridge between public and private sectors. The organisation which today is known as ISO began in 1926 as the International Federation of the National Standardization Associations . ISO Certification is valid for 3 years of time duration.

Stages of ISO International standards are developed by ISO technical committees (TC) and subcommittees (SC) by a process with six steps :- Stage 1:-Proposal stage Stage 2:-Preparatory stage Stage 3:-Committee stage Stage 4:- Enquiry stage Stage 5:-Approval Stage Stage 6:-Publication stage

ISO 9000 is a series of quality management systems standards created by the international organization for standardization(ISO). The ISO 9000 quality management system (QMS) standards are not specific to products or services, but apply to the processes that create them . The standards are generic in nature so that they can be used by manufacturing and service industries anywhere in the world. Quality management also means what the organization does to enhance the customer satisfaction and achieve continual improvement of its performance.

Environmental Management ISO 14001 is for environmental management this means what the organization does to:- Minimize harmful affects on environment caused by its activities. To conform to applicable regulatory requirements. Achieve continual improvement of its environmental performance.

An ISO Management System

Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2005, Food Safety Management System(FSMS)- Requirement for any organization within the food supply chain , has been developed at within ISO by the specialists , from the food organization. At the side of representatives of specialized internations . The body conjointly established by the U nited Nations ‘Food and Agriculture organization’ and world health organisation to develop food standards.

Food Safety Management (conti…) Requirements:- To plan, implement, operate, maintain and update a food safety management system aimed towards providing merchandise that, consistent with their supposed use, square measure safe for the buyer. To effectively communicate food issues of safety to their suppliers, customers and relevant interested parties with the organic phenomenon. To asses client needs and demonstrate conformity with those reciprocally in agreement client needs that relate to food safety.

Information Security management Information Security means protecting information and information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording and destruction. Latest Example we can give that of F acebook ,Google etc.
