INTERNATIONAL
ORGANIZATIONS
BY DILDORA
BAKHRIDDINOVA

known as an intergovernmental
organization or an international
institution, is an organization that is
established by a treaty or other type
of instrument governed by
international law and possesses its

A key aspect of these policies is the establishment of official languages that
serve as the primary means of communication within an organization. For
instance, the United Nations recognizes six official languages—Arabic,
Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish—ensuring representation
for a broad range of linguistic groups. Similarly, organizations like the
European Union emphasize language diversity by supporting multiple
languages to reflect the linguistic and cultural identity of its member states.

REASON FOR CREATING IO:
International organizations are created to promote global peace,
security, economic stability, and cooperation. They help prevent
conflicts (UN, NATO), support economic growth (WTO, IMF,
World Bank), address global challenges like climate change and
health crises (WHO, IPCC), and protect human rights (UNESCO,
UNHCR). These organizations also establish international laws
(ICJ) and foster regional integration (EU, ASEAN), ensuring
collaboration among nations for a more stable and
interconnected world.

The United Nations (UN) is
the largest and most
familiar intergovernmental
organization. The UN's
main goal is to keep
peace. It conducts
peacekeeping missions
by sending
representatives to
