PWD (Person With Disabilities) - There are many categories of PWD’s or person with disabilities. To mention some, there are the hearing impaired, visualy impaired, diabetic, asthmatic

What is Intersubjectivity? 12 a term originally coined by the Philosopher Edmund Husserl. is more simply stated as the interchange of thoughts and feelings, between two persons or subjects as facilitated by empathy. Intersubjectivity is shared understanding that helps us relate one situation to another. Recognizing the otherness of people despite their situations in life.

The Philippine government supports person’s with disabilities to land a job . It is a negative perception that they are less productive. More that 50% of our PWD are abled enough and were educated.
Paid work (34.25%) + Self Employed (22.71%) + Non Paid Work (0.38%) = 57.34% working population of PWD among the respondents.

We could go beyond the labels, redesign it to something new . If the negative labels can be contagious, so can positive ones. We must focus on the positive for these labels can strengthen relationships
