EVALUATE ONE'S
LIMITATIONS AND THE
POSSIBILITIES FOR
THEIR TRANSCENDENCE

Evaluating one's limitations and
the possibilities for their
transcendence involves
recognizing both the boundaries
of one's capabilities and the
potential to overcome or surpass
those boundaries.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS?
Limitations are the boundaries or
weaknesses that stop a person from doing
certain things or reaching their full potential.
These are the things that make tasks harder
for us, whether it's in our body, mind, or
emotions.

WHAT IS SELF-EVALUATION?
Self-evaluation is the process of honestly
looking at yourself to understand your
strengths and weaknesses. It means thinking
about what you’re good at and what you still
need to improve. Through self-evaluation,
you can set goals, learn from your mistakes,
and grow as a person.

WHAT DOES TRANSENDENCE MEANS?
Transcendence means going beyond your current
limits or overcoming challenges that once held you
back. It’s when you rise above your weaknesses,
fears, or problems and become a better version of
yourself. Transcendence is all about growth,
improvement, and reaching something higher than
what you thought you could achieve.

TYPES OF
LIMITATIONS

• PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS
• MENTAL LIMITATIONS
• SOCIAL/ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITATIONS
• EMOTIONAL LIMITATIONS
THESE ARE THE TYPES OF LIMITATIONS :

PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS – Barriers
related to the body, like sickness,
disability, or tiredness that stop
you from doing certain tasks.

MENTAL LIMITATIONS – These are
struggles in thinking or
understanding, like difficulty
focusing, overthinking, or lack of
knowledge.

SOCIAL|ENVIRONMENTAL
LIMITATIONS – problems in
connecting with others, like shyness,
poor communication, or fear of being
judged.

EMOTIONAL LIMITATIONS –
Strong feelings like fear, anger, or
low self-esteem that affect how
you think or act.

PHYSICAL
LIMITATIONS

• Death
• Sickness
• Limitations of Senses
• Dependence to Food, Water,
and Oxygen.
• Limited Strength and Power

Physical limitations – are the natural boundaries
or weaknesses of our body that stop us from
doing certain things. These can include getting
tired easily, getting sick, or not being able to do
things because of age or injury. Everyone has
physical limits, and it’s important to know them
so we don’t harm ourselves.

INTELLECTUAL
LIMITATIONS

• Deceiving Sense Perception
• Cognitive Dissonance
• Biases and Prejudices
• Information Overload

Intellectual limitations – refers to
restrictions in cognitive abilities that
impact a persons capacity to process
information, solve problems, and
understand complex concepts.

EMOTIONAL
LIMITATIONS

• Extreme Emotions
• Negative Impacts Of Emotions To
Decision Making
• Constant Desire To Pleasure And
Positive Emotions

Emotional limitations – are the struggles or
challenges we face in controlling or
understanding our emotions. These can
affect how we make decisions, handle stress,
or interact with others. For example, extreme
anger, sadness, or fear. Might stop someone
from thinking clearly or doing what’s best in
a situation.
