What is our Intention for the course?

Intention LET’S PURIFY OUR INTENTION “It is YOU we worship & YOU we ask for help” (Al-Fatiha-5)

Hadith on Intention -It is narrated on the authority of Umar ibn al- Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Deeds are based on intentions and every person will get what he intended. Whoever migrates for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, his migration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and whoever migrates for the sake of the world or to marry a woman, his migration is for the same thing. For which he migrated .

The literal meaning of intention Intention, according to Islamic terminology, is a conscious emotion that expresses the purpose behind the action. Whether it is to please Allah, to be obedient to Him, to hope for His reward or to fear His punishment or for some other reason . 1: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught Abu Bakar (R.A.) a supplication through which we can seek forgiveness from Allah for our wrong intentions.. 3: Because inner emotions create a desire to act, the use of hope and desire is seen as an alternative to intention.

Virtues of Quran

1 : The teaching, preaching and practice of the Holy Quran is a greatest jihad . فَلَا تُطِعِ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ وَ جَاہِدۡہُمۡ بِہٖ جِہَادًا کَبِیۡرًا ﴿۲۵-۵۲﴾ So do not obey the disbelievers and fight them with this Qur'an, great jihad . 3: On the Day of Judgment, the Qur'an will intercede for the forgiveness of the people of the Qur'an. 2: Of all the blessings of Allah, the greatest blessing is the Quran Hazrat Abu Imam Bahli (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I have heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: "Recite the Qur'an. He will be the intercessor for his readers on the Day of Resurrection." It is narrated by Muslim. وَّ اذۡکُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکُمۡ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنَ الۡکِتٰبِ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃِ یَعِظُکُمۡ بِہٖ ؕ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ وَ اعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۲-۲۳۱﴾ And remember the favor of Allah upon you, and from the Book and Wisdom which He has sent down to you, He admonishes you with it and fear Allah and know that Allah is the Knower of all things.

4: The Qur'an will quarrel with Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection and will take its followers to Paradise Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The Qur'an will intercede (on the Day of Resurrection) and its intercession will be accepted. Whoever makes the Qur'an his leader and guide will be taken to Paradise and whoever puts it behind his back will be taken to Hell. " It is narrated by Ibn Habban . 6 : Knowledge of the Qur'an is the sum of all sciences. 5: On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will testify in favor of those who practice it Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) says that one who should acquire knowledge should meditate on the Qur'an because the Qur'an contains all the knowledge before and after. It is narrated by Tabarani . Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Salam said to him: "On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will testify against you or against you." It is narrated by Muslim .

9: Those who follow the Quran will always be on the right path. Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Beware, I am leaving two important things between you. He will be guided, and whoever leaves him will go astray. " It is narrated by Muslim. 11: Whoever reads the Qur'an and acts upon it will not perish nor will he go astray. 10: Those who follow the Quran will have dominance and rise in the world. Hazrat Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Surely one end of the Qur'an is in the hand of Allah and the other is in your hand. Hold it firmly. It is narrated by Tabarani . Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Beware, your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has said, "Surely Allah Almighty gives some people dominance and exaltation through this book and humiliates some people." It is narrated by Muslim .

فَضْلُ تِلَاوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِیْدِ Virtue of reciting Quran

Those who recite the Qur'an do business with Allah Almighty in which they get the following five benefits. They do not incur any loss in this trade. According to the promise, they will be rewarded in full. Allah Almighty, by His grace, increases their reward. Their sins are also forgiven. Their other good deeds are appreciated. ا نَّ الَّذِیۡنَ یَتۡلُوۡنَ کِتٰبَ اللّٰہِ وَ اَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ سِرًّا وَّ عَلَانِیَۃً یَّرۡجُوۡنَ تِجَارَۃً لَّنۡ تَبُوۡرَ- لِیُوَفِّیَہُمۡ اُجُوۡرَہُمۡ وَ یَزِیۡدَہُمۡ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ ؕ اِنَّہٗ غَفُوۡرٌ شَکُوۡرٌ ﴿ۙ۲۹-۳۰﴾ Surely those who recite the Book of Allah and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly, they hope for a trade which is by no means a ruin. So that Allah may give them their full reward and give them more out of His bounty. Certainly, he is very forgiving, very appreciative. ( Fatir : 29-30)

Envy of the Qur'anic reader is also rewarding . It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is permissible to be jealous of two men. I would have been taught the Qur'an in the same way as he was taught, so I would have recited the Qur'an in the same way (that neighbor is enviable). He keeps on following the path of truth and his neighbor sees him and says, "I wish I had the same wealth."It would have been as it has been given and I would have spent it in the way of truth as it is being laid down. "(That neighbor is also enviable) This is narrated by Bukhari. The recitation and understanding of the Qur'an leads to success in the question and answer of Munkar Naqeer in the grave. It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Bara ibn Azib that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, Then they ask, "What is your religion?" He says, "My deen is Islam." Then they ask, "What do you think of the man among you who was sent as a prophet?" He answers. He is the Messenger of Allah. The angels ask, "How did you know all this?" The man says"I read God's book, believed in it, and confirmed it." It is narrated by Abu Dawud .

Recitation of the Holy Quran protects the dead in the grave. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “So charity and almsgiving take him away and when an angel comes from his feet, walking towards the mosque takes him away.” It is narrated by Tabarani . The one who recites the Qur'an gets ten virtues by reciting one letter at a time. Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: “Whoever reads one letter from the Book of Allah has one virtue and the reward of one virtue is ten sins. A is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mem is a letter. " It is narrated by Tirmidhi . Recitation of the Qur'an builds the love for Allah and His Messenger . Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever wants to love Allah and His Messenger should recite the Qur'an." It is narrated by Abu Na'im in Haliya .

اَلْقُرْآنُ وَمُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللہ The Holy Quran and Muhammad, the Messenger of God

If the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had recited the Qur'aan during Qiyaam al- Layl , the sound of boiling bones would have come from the chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) due to crying. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to recite the Holy Quran to Jibreel (PBUH) every year during the holy month of Ramadan. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the happiest reciter in the Qur'aan . Hazrat Muttaraf narrates from his father that he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying. It is narrated by Abu Dawud . Hazrat Bara ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah 3 in the Isha prayer. I have not found anyone so happy. It is narrated by Muslim Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Qur'an was recited once every year (in Ramadan) before the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the year he died. Similarly, he used to observe I'tikaaf for ten days every year, but in the year in which he died, he observed I'tikaaf for twenty days. It is narrated by Bukhari.

اَلْقُرْآنُ وَ الصَّحَابَةُ The Holy Quran and the Companions Rizwan Allah Alayhim Ajmeen

Hazrat Abu Musa al- Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite the Qur'an a little at a time while Hazrat Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) used to go to sleep on the first night and get up last night to recite. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) encouraged Hazrat Abu Musa al- Ash'ari ( ra ) to listen to the recitation in his beautiful voice. All the members of the Majlis -e- Shura of Hazrat Umar (RA) were scholars of the Holy Quran. The young Companions were fond of memorizing the Qur'an and reciting the Qur'an. The recitation of the Companions was attached to the Qur'an. If the Companions used to meet each other, they would love to listen to the Holy Quran.
