3. What is a computer?
A computer is an electronic machine that manipulates
information, or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve,
and process data.

4. Basics Terms of Computers?
 Input
The devices which are used to give data and instructions to the
computer are called Input Devices. Various types of input devices
can be used with the computer like keyboard, mouse etc.

5. Output
The devices which are used to display the results or information are
called Output Devices. You can view the output on the monitor or you can
print it on a paper using a printer. Monitor and the printer are the commonly
used output devices.

6. Data
This is a collection of raw facts and figures is called Data. Data can be
processed to create useful information. Data is a valuable asset for an
organization.
Information
The processed form of data is called Information. Information is
meaningful, useful and organized. It is use for making decisions.
Information is the output in this process.

7. Storage
The place where programs and files are stored in a computer.
Also called the Hard Disc.

8. Hardware
Hardware is any part of your computer that has a physical structure,
such as the keyboard or mouse. It also includes all of the computer's
internal parts.

Software is any set of instructions that tells the hardware what to
do and how to do it.
