HISTOPATHOLOGY Histopathology term is derived from Greek word Histo meaning – tissue, Pathos meaning – Suffering (disease) and logy means – to study. “Study of disease in tissue is called Histopathology”. Histopathology is the branch of clinical pathology which deals with the study of diseased tissue in histopathology lab by histotechniques for the diagnosis of tumors.
